Inspired by the lyrics of the song, Be Honest music video is about a couple that is going through a break up. The female character, played by Fazura is ready to move on while the male character, played by Jesse is pleading to give the relationship another chance.
For this music video, Nadirah wanted to incorporate her love for black and white photography and also diptychs. To convey the idea that Fazura is content about moving forward for her own self growth, she is placed surrounded by lush greens, while Jesse is surrounded by dried flowers, to signify his heartache.
