What a clever lie from the Enemy. I thank God for my nature that led me to look into this for myself regardless of the "yes men" around me. Finally in 2020 i started reaching out to fellow "LGBT Christians" (i put all this in quotes because those of us on the side of truth know they're irreconcilable terms) and telling them they were living in sin. I agree that we should welcome people into the church, but the preaching should show that we are all sinners, what I mean by that is preaching against all sin,to where LGBT people will know they are not being singled out,the way I look at it,all sexual sin including adultery and fornication all of it needs to be dealt with in the church, not coddling these individuals in their sins which means its probably not being preached against, and that's what it sounds like in this church!that's why the united methodist is in such a mess also!!

@UCrmL6VFFqzo_KanvgOKT-SQ ok but it was a major sin. The angels couldn't even sleep in the village square for fear of being raped. I know all sin separates us from God. But there are some sins more abhorrent to God! Look at Leviticus where it says a man should not sleep with another as he does a woman. Also a woman should not present herself to an animal..etc....It also states incest, adultery etc. Sodom and Gomorrah wasn't just sexual sin but it was a major one that led to others because the covenant of true marriage was ignored and perverted. Marriage on Earth resembles the marriage of God to his true children!

Justin, thank you for standing firm on the Word of God. I am an SBC pastor in the Pacific Northwest and this video makes my heart weep knowing how so many in the SBC have fractured away from their strong stand on the Word and now are more engaged in a cultural ministry rather than the proclamation of the gospel. Perhaps being in the Pacific Northwest has insulated me from the collapse that is occurring in those places that were once bulwarks of Scripture in the SBC. I fear that the popularity of many megachurches have motivated some in the SBC to embrace the trends of the culture in order to engender themselves to the world. But Scripture warns that many would fall away, seeking those who will tickle their ears. And though I don't know if you receive these comments or if this may be an encouragement to you, but I will assure you that I will stand firm on the Word of God. And if I end up separating from the SBC, it is the denomination that will have left Christ, and ON CHRIST I WILL STAND. And, when Dr. MacArthur sought others to take a stand on January 16th, I signed the petition and preached God's word against the woke foolishness that has invaded our world. May the Lord continue to bless your work in standing firm on the Word.

But there were a lot of major problems in the church of Corinth. Paul wrote that book to them because of their many problems, so that he could correct them and get them back onto the right path. There were definitely false converts in that group. There were people who were not believing in the true gospel. There have always been fake Christians. Today we've got tons of people who would say they "believe in Jesus" and would definitely assume they're going to heaven when they die, but they're going to be turned away and cast out by Jesus because they were not really believers (see Matt 7:22-27). Those people were 'believing in vain' because they were not believing in the correct thing. They were believing something other than the gospel that Paul had delivered. In the most simple terms, Paul is saying you're saved if you believe the gospel that he preached but if you're believing something else your faith is worthless.

So I used to attend FBCO prior to moving to Gainesville for school, I still listen to the sermons often and I heard the message Pastor Danny and pastor David gave. I was concerned at first when hearing the message but I actually reached out to the church and talked with pastor Danny. I can tell you many times in the past they have both denounced homosexuality. Pastor Danny told me after talking to him the stance has not changed, all the church leaders agree any fornication or homosexuality is sin, the message was simply that “we want everyone to come in and hear the message or Jesus and if they truly turn that was always change their behavior. Now we can certainly question whether or not that’s a good strategy but he confirmed to me they are not an affirming church. And relating to pulse, that service was on a non church day and held but a 3rd, FBCO was simply just a host ground for the service, none of the pastors were involved in that service and they actually denounced what was said in that sermon several weeks after it.

I attend a small SBC church in New England in which I do half the preaching and an adult Bible study on Wednesday evenings. Everything I do is based 100% on the Bible going verse by verse examining scripture in its historical context, grammar, literary style, application to the first century receivers as well as application to believers today. As a small church in New England we have no time for SBC politics. We function as an independent congregation not taking orders from any denominational hierarchy. In this region to find any church that teaches the Bible and stands by it who also has trained pastors and teachers is not always common. Maybe we should break from the SBC but at this point we function independently of any heresy and compromise of His Word. Our aim is to Glorify God and to proclaim the risen Savior Jesus Christ. Finally, I personally have preached over 2000 sermons everyone one of them directly from texts between Genesis and Revelation.

Great video, Justin. A David Wilkerson sermon came to mind. He said 5 cross dressers accidentally came to his church there in NYC thinking they were going to a broadway show. Surprisingly 4 of the guys came back the next weekend. After a few months the elders and members had a sit down talk with them telling them the process of repentance and there has to be a change(being born again). Several weeks later those men came dressed like men. And later they became pastors. On a different note, todays churches have watered down the gospel severely. So much that Repentance and sin isn’t preached anymore. True, to love someone is to tell them the truth! The people in Sodom and Gamorah did this same type of watered down preaching and it corrupted the cities and surrounding cities, but at the same time they prayed and made sacrifices to God and God destroyed the cities with fire and brimstone. They worshipped a different God because they relied on their own understanding. Check out Ron Wyatt dot com on the Sodom and gamorah discovery.
