This is kind of fear mongering.... All iPhone and android (if on the current software) use RCS which is encrypted and a secure way to communicate cross platform. This only affected the older SMS protocol which is being phased out. I wish the articles would explain this. As long as you keep your iPhone and android phone current this doesn't affect you.
