FBO BMW 435i VRSF EVERYTHING INSTALL! (Downpipe, charge pipe, intercooler)

I have a 435i and have upgraded cold air intake, charge pipe, boost pipe, turbo inlet pipe, full 3inch cat back exhaust and intercooler. Last thing on the list is my catless downpipe. Cant wait to see an increase of hp with just this simple mod.

I call myself being patient and doing that with the v band clamp When I put the clamp on the back towards the engine be on the bolt side gets cock. I spread the clamp open a little more still don’t seem to work for me I have watch videos after video. But most don’t really show everything I really hate that part. Hopefully you get to do another video and do a detail video when putting the clamp on. A lot edit going on so you don’t see it all You are the first person to ever respond to me I have a a lot of respect for you. Thank you.

The rear turbo is what typically hangs everyone up. With the clamp on the turbo. Bolt facing outwards (towards fender) we will put the pipe up there against the turbo then spread the clamp. You’ll know when it’s correct because you’ll be able to pull it down with your fingers. If using all brand new fresh gaskets it makes it a tighter fit so a pair of channel locks can also help you squeeze the clamp.

Did the install on this 435 with the big VRSF intercooler require trimming of any plastic? I recall the 335 with the 6.5 requires significant trimming to fit properly. Thanks.

fun fact.. bigger intercooler doesnt always mean better. 435 u aint pushing more than 450whp without a full stage 2 fuel system and big boost turbo. The n55 just isnt capable unless you wanna try and spin a rod bearing or blow a piston but then ur running into blowing a tranny. 7.5 in ur prolly gonna experience hella turbo lag and even at 6.5 youll feel lag. 5.5 (VRSF) stepped intercooler set to 550WHP is actually plenty.. You wont feel turbo lag due to it being less time for the air to cool down before going into the engine- again a 435 aint pushing 500WHP unless u got big boy mods. Intercooler, chargepipe, and Catless DP is cool but its rookie upgrades.

Great video Have a ? Have 135i n54 Went to do my down pipes. Getting the vBand on is very hard. I don’t have a lift like you. Should the band go on pipe first or put it on turbo I have arm down pipes Need some help I try both ways. Still unsuccessful.

We usually put them on turbo side first. It takes some finesse sometimes. Be patient.

Just purchased a 435i with a pre installed Vrsf chargpipe. I noticed the pipe was missing a bolt causing a boost leak. Does anyone know what type of bolt i could replace it with??

Hi after installing my downpipe to my bmw x5 e70 n55 is it normal to smoke a bit of blueish when reving the car . i didnt have that smoke with the stock downpipe 😢 what could be ?

Depending on some variables you could see more noticeable smoke considering it’s free flowing exhaust now

Blue smoke means your burning oil somewhere in your intake/ exhaust system. You didn’t see it before because the cat would eat the smoke. Figure out where your oil leak is then fix it before it gets worse.
