Thank you so much for this. I was always very hands-on with my finances, and then I got sucked into the digital world, and while it certainly has its benefits, I feel completely out of touch with how I am doing financially. I need to be hands-on like you are in order to know what’s going on and make sure all the right things are happening. Thank you for sharing this.

This was great. I do a lot of similiar things, but I learned some great new things I want to add. The alerts are great. My main spend is my PayPal card and I get an email everytime a charge occurs. It's very useful! Thanks so much!!

Loved every minute of this. I’ve watched 3-4 times already. You’ve got the things I knew I was missing in our finance tracking. Spending my weekend creating inserts and setting up a new system since I’m switching from a bound book to rings. Thank you so much for sharing in such great detail.

Hi! There are great videos out there on how to make inserts on Canva. Canva has a free subscription. I suggest you get that and just practice. I had no idea how to use canva when I started but I saw KZbin videos and practiced. My inserts are still not perfect-but they are perfect for me. I hope that helps! Thanks for watching!!

I love your financial section. It’s well organized, this is what I need structure. I am a new subscriber. I was in a personal size but never thought to use Franklin Covey inserts. I changed planner size instead 🤦🏾‍♀️Thanks so much for sharing !

I have set up budget “buddies” for my kids and grandkids. For years we used the portable file folders. It’s time to update to a planner style. Thank you for the explanation and samples. If you don’t tell your money where to go, it will disappear.

I was wondering how you handle sinking funds. Do you have specific categories for certain big expenses or do you just make sure you have enough savings on hand to handle anything that might come up?

I have several savings accounts where funds are allocated to. I do not do monthly sinking funds. Instead, when I received my annual bonus- I take that money and allocate for each category- so I basically have the money a year in advance. So my bonus money goes into : travel, annual subscriptions, birthday/christmas, retirement, etc. Every year my bonus funds the same accounts. I hope that makes sense.

I love this video, it’s a bit much for my simple budgeting needs, but great to see another way to track expenses/budget. Could you do a video on how to print, cut, etc from Canva🤣 I am having the hardest time printing in A5 size for my expense tracking.

Great video as always. We’ve fallen off some of our budgeting as life got crazy but hubs and are we’re just talk in about needing to revamp and I’ve been working on a ring budget/home setup. Plus I’m working on a budget planner add-on for the planner I’m designing so it was helpful to see how others budget and what they need and want. I do have an unrelated question. Your FCC rings is your EDC so what is the moleskine? I always thought it was the EDC bc it’s smaller and more portable.

Hi there!! Again thanks so much for watching. I totally get the revamping of the budget- I have been consistently over budget in EATING OUT category for like 8 years now.... LOL 😂. I hope you find what works for you and the hubs. Your unrelated question- is one that I have been getting often. So I literally just recorded a couple of videos for a 3 part series. 1st one is My EDC and what that means to me. 2nd. My EDC planner Bag 3rd. My EDC In my purse. I think everyone will be intrigued by Part 3 because I have never shown it (on purpose) but I think it is important to share how it all comes together. So keep an eye out for that in the coming week or so. 😉

Noelia, thanks for sharing your budget process. It’s very inspiring. If this is your everyday carry (along with your moleskine), does that mean you actually carry it when you leave the house? If so, aren’t you nervous that it might get lost or stolen? 😫 Also, what scale percentage do you enlarge your inserts when you copy or print them?

Hi Corretta- Thank you for watching!! In regards to your questions - I just recorded a couple of videos for a 3 part series. 1st one is My EDC and what that means to me. 2nd. My EDC planner Bag 3rd. My EDC In my purse. I think everyone will be intrigued by Part 3 because I have never shown it (on purpose) but I think it is important to share how it all comes together. So keep an eye out for that in the coming week or so. 😉. I am not nervous about losing my planner when it is with me because she is too chunky to lose and thankfully I live in a happy and sleepy town where no one would steal it. Your last question about scale %- not sure what you mean. When I purchase inserts- they are sized specifically for Franklin Covey Compact size inserts. Now, when I decide to use those for my pocket moleskine or pocket rings (when I was testing it out) I would shrink the FC compact down to 82-84%. I hope that helps!! :)
