Just picked up my 14th Porsche, a 2005 955 Turbo, AND I live about 2 miles from the NEW Gilbert/Mesa warehouse!!!! Will be doing videos on my 955CTT as well. Loved seeing this 957 up in Sedona

Ever since i was younger i dreamed of having a 957 gts Cayenne i saved up working and got one later in life long before the hype, im glad i got one Porsche is the way to go🤍there expensive to maintain tho be prepared🙏🏻

Great video and what insight as to what goes on with these. I have a 2006 Turbo S that is super clean but, unfortunately, is going to need another good home soon. I'd definitely offer it up as a project car for something like this - no doubt. This would be a way better outcome than just dumping it on the street or a dealer.

Definitely wondering about towing after the lift. I'd like to tow my Cayman to SCCA solo Nats with my Eurowise lifted Q7. Doncha luv VAG electrical connectors ? Do I want to know how much the compressor was ? 2009 BMW Z4 top hydraulic motor was $4k... Luckily, only $650 to rebuild. So, Bro, I heard you like fake beadlock bolts, so I beadlock bolted your beadlock bolts... I have massive rockrail envy... Love these vids, keep them coming. Doesn't look like overlanding is going to do anything but grow. Eurowise has earned all the business they get. They are killing it.

We've towed thousands of miles with this cayenne lifted on both 32's and 33's with no issues from it. The compressor was less than 1/4 the price of that on your Z4! The triple beadlocks were a wild look haha, we have since swapped on some Braids with their "Beadlock system" atleast functional!

You guys looking for another great project Cayenne like the one shown in this video? I have a '06 Cayenne Turbo S with 121K (Black on Black). Only mods are cat bypass pipes and a Hanksville Hot Rods muffler. Happy to discuss.

We try to ignore the MPG while towing haha - fully built HWY still around 12-13 mpg, around the city or towing .... not so much

I've been looking at getting a Cayenne as a daily/track car tow rig. I'm trying to decide between a diesel with higher miles or the gas V6 with lower miles. How well do you think the base V6 can tow ~2015 MY

Base v6 is stout. It’s a A VR6 engine so it’s got a healthy amount of torque. Pretty reliable too. It will tow great. But the diesel will tow better. The diesel emissions stuff will cause some heartache and can either run perfect or be problematic with high mileage. The naturally aspirated V8s are pretty reliable too, I have a ‘10 GTS and its engine is solid, even when the previous owners weren’t the greatest with upkeep.

@@Skylinef22Timing chain and guide issues are fairly common and require an engine out service. Later vr6 have the oil pump nut issue. The vr6 is slightly more reliable than the v8 and requires less maintenance but it’s a heavy vehicle with not much power with the vr6 IMO

You already hot some great insights above! You'd be totally okay towing with a VR6, that said the diesel or V8 variant is the sweet spot for sure. We had a local customer towing his racecar with a Manual VR6 955, no air suspension , with no issues!

Never get the VR6, it is slower than a base 90's civic. I had most of them and the best is by far the V6 diesel. Fast, economical, ultra reliable and has a large range !

Hard to lose the air suspension paired with PDCC for its pure towing capability. We did consider it a bunch though!

It’s a cool idea but I feel like the first quarter of the video is just making excuses why it’s ok for it to be so clapped out. 135k isn’t that many miles. Let’s get back to when premium meant lasts forever.
