There is a weird part that the torx screw is attached to the what is that. During the install I crushed it and white plastic went all over. How bad did I mess up. Thanks for the video. Lots of help.

The instruction was very helpful and to the point. I have an 2011 A5 and the error code for me is P0301, Cylinder number 1 misfiring. Im going to change all my plugs and the Coil packs and ill keep my fingers crossed that this will fix the problem.

All videos for repair should be this clear, concise and short. Some of these videos just drag it out for three times as long as needed. Perhaps they are for dummies.

If you're smart enough to know that, you should not need a video to begin with

Thank you posting. Great camera angle and very informative. How often should the spark plugs be replaced? I have a Q5 2.0T so I presume the steps and parts are the same. Subscribed!

Good morning Matt, a good interval for that motor would be about every 35,000 miles.

Great vid...just curious where do apply the dielelectric grease on coil also do u recommend putting some on actual spark plug thanks?
@fcpeuro6 жыл бұрын
The grease is applied to the rubber ignition coil connector. This helps the rubber boot slide onto the ceramic insulator of the plug. The grease also acts to seal the rubber boot, while at the same time preventing the rubber from becoming stuck to the ceramic. You don't have to put any on the spark plug.

I just bought a 13 A5 2.0. How are things going with your A5? I bought mine from a 3rd owner older couple and it has 118k miles. Did you replace your spark plugs?

I haven't replaced mine. I guess I'll wait as the car seems to be doing good right now.

Hey man, great video. Do you prefer platinum series over iridium?
@fcpeuro4 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Eray! So long as you use the manufacture recommended spark plug, you won't have any problems, however Iridium does tend to have a longer service life!
