Hi from France 🇫🇷. Thanks a lot for this content, not a hard work but this video made me save a bunch of time 🙏 If I can, just a tip : 35:29 instead of use a screwdriver, you have 2 « U » where you can put your thumbs into it (just next to your left hand when you begin). Just press the oposite and the plastic part just release by itself. Not saving a lot of time but just to be sure to not break or scratch anything. ✌️

BMWs are so easy to work on…I have no idea why they get such a bad wrap. They are essentially a European Honda. Great video, but you forgot to replace the 2 plastic hardline coolant hoses underneath the intake manifold that are ALWAYS prone to leaking. It’s a pain in the ass to get to them but they should be replaced with this service. You should do both of these hoses unless you want to be severely disappointed that you still have a coolant leak, even after doing all this work.

Mike, great video. Did this job on my 04 330ci yesterday. Your video basically did it for me. The overhaul kit doesn’t come with the coolant level sensor, it probably should. Also, was a little disappointed that the water pump didn’t have the metal impeller but the original one lasted 20 years so maybe OK. Thanks again….

Very good video, it was very helpful to me! The correct tool for the drive/fan belt tensioner is a T50. I used a Nissens radiator from FCP, it now has corrosion on the top bracket after 4 days out of the box! The core looks clean, but I will have to monitor it for a while. Fingers crossed.

It is if you have time and patience. Took me 10hrs disassembly due to lower rad hose would not release and fan nut that was over-torqued by last mechanic! You need a great wrench and a couple of feet of pipe to break it loose sometimes, also the rotate stop tool!. 3 hrs reassembly, and success. But not fun.
