"Empty Vision" A paralyzed mind embracing decay, Dead like carrion just wasting away, There is nothing... Numbed by excess and complete saturation, Scarred influence by degeneration, There is nothing to believe... All has been lost, All have lost their way, Every eye has been disgraced, Dead like carrion, We must carry on... There is nothing... Lost innocence and blank revelations, Searching for a hope in static transmissions, There is nothing to believe... All has been lost, All have lost their way, Every eye has been disgraced, There's no reason, There is no reason for empty vision

No for replacement but new copy of vocal is good really but why copy. New vocalist should find personal vocal. No just copy. In my opinion.

Damn... This song rings true for today/now! I never understood this song until today as of this post. I'm gonna replay this. Damn my younger self was so ignorant. It's amazing and humbling how musicians knew back then and tried to teach dumbasses like me back then to what was to come and what is happening now. Fear Factory. You told me so. I'm just now realizing this. So much respect.

The best drummers feed off their guitarists imo. I put Ray on that list.

crimsondeath84 Fear Factory pioneered that certain style, though the band refers to Meshuggah as taking that style to a different level. FF & Meshuggah are both so groovy and heavy as metal bands and they are also both quite melodic even when extreme

Miriamchus chus sadly Burton agreed to go along with Dino and pretend this and archetype were never released. They don't play any of these songs anymore or promote the album on Spotify. Understandable, given that many of the lyrics on Archetype were spitefully aimed at Dino

Justin Nehls Maybe because it sound low-fi. But I love it like all the others even Digimortal.
@justinnehls76508 жыл бұрын
Yeah sound quality was bad. Needs remastered with lower vocals and louder guitar
@Meshuggapeth6 жыл бұрын
Justin Nehls it needs remastering or even remixing/re-recording. That’ll never happen though! The new FF lineup (a side project formed by Burton and Dino to which Christian and Ray are not allowed to contribute) refuses to promote the archetype/transgression songs, which is a shame, for several amazing songs on this album (including Spinal Compression) and many songs on Archetype such as Drones, Default Judgment and Human Shields
@NevermoreNevermore...5 жыл бұрын
I think they say it sucks because the production sucks. The guitar sound is weak and awful but it's a good album. Just imagine how great it would be if this LP sounded like Demanufacture, Mechanize or Genexus.
