On Airbus you cannot dump fuel there's specific procedure for overweight landings, but no fuel jettisons )))

I appreciate your comment. Although I've been involved in a serious engine failure on an A380 and we had to dump fuel to maximum landing payload to land. We still hit the ground roughly and needed psychiatric support (not me luckily). Wasn't nice.

@@WishCasting Comunque una precisazione, ho parlato con un collega del 380, il 380 come tutti gli airbus è in grado di atterrare al massimo peso al decollo quindi non necessita di fuel dumping, se si tratta di una time critical emergency e se si ha la pista di lunghezza sufficiente, nel tuo caso essendo un single engine failure probabilmente hanno preferito scendere al maximum landing weight o magari non vi era una pista adeguata nelle vicinanze. mi spiace per l'hard landing ma può dipendere da molti fattori. Sarebbe bello se condividessi la tua esperienza, se non l' hai già fatto
