This episode review reminded me that I don’t really have much to say that hasn’t been said all season! I’m pretty much just hoping Daniel survives, Madison gets more than one scene, and we get to hear about how much better Dead in the Water is than the show it’s spun off from!

I really thought you had to be mistaken about John & Grace recording a song right after he said there wasn't time to do something else. So I went back and watched that part again, and damn, you were right. What were they thinking!? Every contradiction you listed in the review and this one here are spot on. The most glaring was that John gets to Morgan with no walkers attacking him...none even following him, he's clear and free, yet he turns to sort of sacrifice himself so they won't attack Morgan, but Morgan decided to have the walkers follow him anyway! Sheeesh It's the type of writing I would expect from high schoolers! This only leads me to conclude that the writers have realized that there is no way to save this show, so they just put in minimum effort. And then we had that ridiculous tunnel scene where Dwight says he can't do anything! But I could clearly see rocks that even I at age 70 could start moving out of the way, but instead, the weaker Sherry is able to do it! I just don't know how more silly this show can get!

This review has tons of FTWD vibes. You start with the plot, get derailed by random tangents before begrudgingly going back to the plot lmao. Perfect embodiment of the show. Yeah I agree, Dwight has not been great since coming to Fear. I had no concept of what kind of character Sherry was in TWD, so they can't really butcher her character for me. At this point I'm convinced either chambliss or goldberg are related to some high up AMC exec and that's why they won't get canned.

Sherry was a bit of a non-character in TWD, so I agree Fear hasn't ruined her, it's just I feel like I'd rather she never returned at all because she's so annyoing. I agree on your the final point, C&G must have friends in high places, otherwise they would have surely been sacked by now.

Her character hasn't added much to the story other than finishing off Dwight's arc of trying to find her. Which could've been done without making her into the annoying character she has become.

I could easily think of a better plot for Sherry and Dwight 1. Don’t have them on Fear. Have Daryl except Dwight at the end of season 8. 2. In season 9, have Sherry be apart of the Negan assassination plot, causing a rift between the two. 3. Have the back half of S9B side plot be Dwight and Sherry reconnecting. Doesn’t matter what it is. But have Dwight want more to life and wants a family. 4. Have Sherry die on the pikes, crushing Dwight and put him on a revenge plot which involves wanting to kill Lydia. An eye for an eye thing, but Daryl is able to steer him away. 5. Dwight dies fighting Beta with Daryl, a bitter sweet ending to his character

Sherry's story in the comics after the saviours arc is quite good, shame we never got that on the TV show. But yeah I agree, I would have preferred to see any of these scenarios instead of Sherry's Fear storyline.

My favorite characters in seasons from season 4 till now were Dorie men, and Teddy. First two were just old school Americans that we have only in movies now days. Honest, trustworthy, smart, kind people. And Teddy was a great and fun character that I really enjoyed watching.

I almost spit out my coffee when Hawking said "you know what it is", the swan song of Fear. It's hard for me to have any real thoughts anymore with this show because it's just so whacky these days. I know in reality it'll be the same BS again next season, but the Morgan in me is just done with 7B and hoping upon hope for another turn-around next season.

he didn't get them to follow him he said in the episode they just starting to follow him and maybe that is because they didn't have enough food on John since they couldn't get it all because of the armour he had on because the organs are the most nutrition to eat in all kills but the thing that annoyed me was him wasting ammo in the air when he could of just shot some walkers and achieved the same thing but that way there would be at least 15 less to deal with

Ok, i'll say it. I really like the writing of FTWD. There's a couple of mistakes and bad writing here and there but much of what you complain, i like. But i totally understand your point. For me, there's a fine line beetween the show being just something different and it becomes a mess. But i can imagine how frustrating the experience can get to the others. That's tragic news, because the show and the characters are very cool, but what's the point if only me and few others enjoy? If it can be done better, then it should be done better.

I’m annoyed he can’t remember his daughter died but he remembers Luciana told him she was alive, he remembers Charley, Alicia, Strand and I believe his missing cat. I have no sympathy for him and I’ll add, he could quickly forget a mercy bullet to the back of his head and that would be a mercy for the audience as well. These writers just keep writing themselves into corners they can’t escape from. How long is Charley going to lie in a bed doing more nothing than she has since the beginning of the season. Getting rid of them now allows the writers to get back to constructing the beautiful, eloquent prose they write for other characters, classics such as “…than flies on a turd”.

Oh man oh man. Instead of catching up on FTWD, I decided to binged the final season of Z Nation last weekend, and the series finale was… thoroughly satisfying. Even where you could see a bit of “we need to wrap this up” rushing, they pulled it off. Then again, I’m pretty sure the writers were always self-aware, relatively speaking.

predatoure It takes a while to tear itself from its Sharknado heritage, but even in early episodes it seems like everybody is having a good time, and it knows when it’s just dumb fun. I wouldn’t have expected it, but it does some daring things along the way. I found myself hugely invested in the characters. It’s one of those shows where I’m glad I started in the middle of the first season then went back to catch up on the first wobbling episodes. Not for everybody, but I enjoyed it. There have been episodes of FTWD (Z-nado? Zombi-cane? Whatever that storm thing was) where I sincerely wondered if they’d decided to go full Z Nation but forgot that ZN is camp.

It's just another set of D&D's asking viewers to make their own story out of the embarrassing pile of nothing they throw at us. Every show ove watched for years has collapsed into nothing.
