Feeding tip for cats: Dont leave the food in a molded square shape!! Mush it up a little so they can smell it better and eat it easier!( I do cat RESCUE EVERY DAY for 5 years)

I think it can happen if fox is hungry and food is in short supply maybe with their babies who need feeding. In my area in UK we have large closed bins so harder to get to food scraps but the smell intices them around the area. They are not aggressive to humans but small tiny cats and dogs should be in at night to be safe.

No they dont not very often and normaly it is when they gang up on one. They both go for the same pray and foxes follow domestic cats around because they kill the mice for them. As most cats will kill them but not eat them and just leave them once bored so the fox then gets a meal without having to use up much energy.
