So no protein in salad, just the nuts!! I have to have protein [ tuna, chicken, salmon, etc] . Thanks for sharing!!

If I put that many nuts in my salad, I would gain about 2.5 to 3 lbs. I love nuts, so I actually eat them in small amounts. When I first started my weight loss journey, I learned that nuts are good for you, but they can pack on the pounds, if you eat too many of them.

I use to pile them on in my salad. I didn't realize why I kept gaining weight. After all, I thought because they are nuts, I should be able to indulge. Silly me! Well, this made me research. The best times to eat walnuts is before 2 of your meals. The recommendation is around 7-8 walnuts. I started counting my nuts, whether it was walnuts, pecans, cashews, etc! This adjustment, helped me get past that stagnation of not losing anymore weight. I guess it depends on your body. Anyway, keep up the good work!
