I have a similar story. I was 275 lbs at 6'5". I lost 55 lbs in just over two months doing rolling 72 hour fasts and refeeding on a no/very low carb meal (occasionally with a keto ice cream for dessert). I also did heavy compound lifting 2-3 times per week (usually the day after a refeed) and light cardio (10,000 steps per day). I have to say it was very easy after the first fast when i got into ketosis. I was rarely hungry and had tons of energy.

2 months is insane! Well done. How have you maintained? Are you still doing 72 hr fasts?
@a.humphries867811 ай бұрын
I did rolling 72's for almost 4 months. I gained and lost the same 5 pounds over and over! It was so discouraging. My husband halfway tried a tiny amount of fasting and lost 11 pounds in a week and kept it off.

The leg cramps were most likely due to lack of electrolytes, and have nothing to do with carbs.

Most people are magnesium deficient. Leg cramps & palpitations are your body’s way of telling you. Also potassium deficiency causes RLS.

I’m not a medical professional, but the leg cramping could likely be due to a lack of potassium, magnesium’s and salt (electrolytes.) Particularly Potassium.

Such a timely and helpful interview! That focus on one thing based on what matters most in your goals - FIRE!!!

I resonate so much with your story. Im 1 year clean from heroin & crack cocaine, 26 years old. At the end of December i made a promise to myself to get healthy. I went from being a malnurished homeless addict to overeating qnd binging until i was 100lbs overweight. Ive been intermittent fasting on a keto diet since jan 1st 2025 and have lost 10 lbs. I plan on adding in water fasts to my routine. Anywhere from 3-7days. I signed up for a transformation challenge with a cash prize to motivate myself because i really just want to be healthy. It was when i was struggling to tie my own shoes that i realized just how out of shape i was

Make sure you’re fasting long enough to reach Autophagy. Which begins after 17hrs. I watched a video where a woman said Autophagy failed her but she admitted she was only fasting 15hrs a day and obviously was not even reaching Autophagy. Also take a good collagen powder every day. I like Vital Proteins Collagen in my black coffee.

And mske sure to train heavy on refeed days and only minor cardio fasted days. And ofcourse nake sure to drink your snake juice every fasted day

Hello🐎🦓🦓🐴🐎🐧🐧🐧🐕🐶, 🐦 God the Father loves you so much that He sent Holy and Sinless Jesus (His Holy Son) to earth to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on a cross for our sins. He was in the tomb for 3 days, then Father God raised Jesus Christ (Y'shua) to Life! He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must receive Jesus sincerely to be God's childJohn 1:12. "But as many as received Him, to them He gave power to become the sons of God, even to them that BELIEVE on HIS name." That is great news! Will you sincerely receive Holy, Lord Jesus into your life today

Only Made it through 4 minutes. It’s something disingenuous about losing a lot of weight in a short period of time, which a lot of people want to do, then saying, I would never it do it that way again. That is easy to say AFTER you lost the weight. I’m sure his course is going to take you 6-8 months, what it took him 3 months to accomplish
