Although I don’t have this particular game, I still love it when you do videos like this. You’ve done videos on storage solutions and play mats in the past on games I do own, and I have ordered some of them……PLUS…… who doesn’t like the just talk about games, and gaming accessories?

Cool work. My first impressions. Negatives - the pure eye chaos that is the card storage. Some dividers with labels or even something on the trays with labels. The miniature storage makes me nervous with those tracks. I know it’s a large selling point but those always make me worry about my paint job. Positives - the token storage is perfect. Getting it condensed down into 4 boxes is nice.

Thanks for providing your take! I can tell you the tracks are no issue for me. They also hold things in place nicely without it squeezing the bases. Slide in well. With you about condensing, big time plus. 🤩

I ordered this a while ago and I'm SUPER happy with how it worked out. It organized everything very well. Comments: Consolidation is amazing. They didn't really provide and tips for how organize the cards, I recommend laying the trays out as they go into the box before you start sorting your cards in. And there are no dividers for the cards, I found some I could 3D print for myself and they look/fit in great! The Map/Tile cards are a fairly tight fit with Awaken Realms sleeves, but it does all fit quite well

Agree with you on the cards although that would be a nice value add to provide after purchase (rather than for anyone on the site to see). Ya, this game needed some dividers for sure. I went with the HDF insert from Tower Rex on Etsy for a few reasons: it's less plastic since it's made mostly of plywood, the runners for storing minis are shorter which has less of a chance to damage paint jobs, and they laser etch gorgeous designs so the insert itself is lovely to look at when you have pieces on your table. Downsides, it's not quite as compact as the one you showed since it used the core and the she-wolf box, which is slightly larger than the mini box. You do have to build the insert, which takes time and some patience (I actually love building inserts for some reason), and because it's wood, it's going to weigh more than plastic. Thanks for sharing! These big campaign games generally need 3rd party inserts given the sheer physical space they can take up otherwise. I'm looking for an option for Marvel Zombies, but will give it a few more months to see if some other designs pop up. Since I paint my minis, I really don't like the ones that have you slide them in long runners, which are usually the first few designs that appear.

Had a look at their website and immediately was shocked at the pricing. When the Storage Solution costs over twice as much as the game itself. A hard pass from me (sorry to say)

Are the original “Creatures of Etherfields” minis stored in the stretch goals box? The alternative sculpts were one of the few things I opted not to get. Moreover, if they are stored in that box, do you think I’d be able to get away with using the Creatures box in lieu of the 5th Player Expansion box (I chucked that thing a long time ago, haha)? I would probably store the game board and manuals under those trays to keep them as close to the top of the box as possible. Either way, great video! Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I love Tinkering Paws.

Yes! The original creatures are all in the stretch goal box with the 5-6 character minis from a small box expansion. The Alternate Creatures are just in the box they came in. So you can use them or not and that would be one box more or less for setup. Yes you could use the Creatures box. The only thing is that vertical storage for that box wouldn’t be a good idea at all. Ever. As long as it’s stored flat, you’re golden! Thanks for watching Alex! 😄

Well I disagree! Etherfields was over double the cost for an all-in pledge. These solutions are for people that have everything and want quicker setup, tear down and much better organization. Having your fav game or a game you enjoy ready to go and able to be stored properly when put away is priceless. The inserts aren’t generic and are custom made and aim to take a large amount of boxes down to very little. Space saving is another advantage. Thanks for watching!

@@RollingSolo There are many various ways to be able to access everything fast and organized for a fraction of those prices... (Stack'n'Safe system is an easy example). It's pretty obvious you're gonna go all in with this system since you pretty much got it for a free or highly discounted in the first place anyway... I just hope people won't fall for this and will actually make some researches for even easier setups at a way lower price point. Thank you for the video anyway!

There’s lots of options for everyone if this one doesn’t suit you. A-ok! I’ve bought inserts from multiple places over the years. I just prefer this one for this game and I find inserts to be most beneficial for space reduction. That’s my focus. Your original comment just wasn’t a productive one or delivered in a helpful way, so I balanced it out. 😜 I don’t tell or force anyone to buy anything. I don’t review things on the channel. I show how games are played and show game related content and leave it to viewers to decide. 🙂 This is my preferred one as it helps me save the most space on large crowdfunding games. If you found what works for you, that’s all that matters to me. Saying that someone’s work is a joke and isn’t worth the money...is a pointless comment. It’s a bad look. It’s not your points I disagree with (cost), it’s your delivery. I get zero dollars or kick back for providing the community the coupon codes. I do it to help reduce the cost for my community ‘if’ people want it. 👍🏼 Hope you’re doing well outside of board games and I’ll see you around Cedric.

​@@RollingSolo Thank you for your reply! Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against you or your videos, nor did I say this system's bad or not well-thought. I thank you for those videos as they allow people to see what's available on the market and this allows them to make their decision. This system surely can have its audience but in the end, if I'm being honest, I find this outrageously pricy for what's delivered (I don't mind paying a high amount of money but I don't see the value here). With the years, I realised I'm looking more and more away from these custom made inserts as they lack what I find essential in the game board field which is versatility. People are spending so much money on these inserts (they're sold at such a high price point) which will end up gathering dust and generate long term buying remorse (at least from people I know who bought such multiple inserts). I really prefer something more versatile which still allows me quick setup/access and gives me reusability if I know I won't play that game for a long time (because let's be frank, many of our beloved games all end up gathering dust on our shelves). Another problem I see with these items is it makes people think they need it badly to play the game correctly, people feel like they're missing out if they don't have them and don't look outside of the box though, I said, there are so many more versatile and cheaper alternatives. That's my 2 cents anyway and, like you, I'm glad with whatever people are comfortable with! :) I'm doing pretty well, thanks for asking ;). I hope you're also doing well! Keep up your work :)
