Star Bobby Diamond best known for playing Dobie Gillis's cousin Dunky. My friend was an NCO in the 82nd, he gives this film a thumbs up, many of the location shots he recognized as still being around Fort Bragg(now Fort Liberty) in the late 1970's.

1962, I think we still had military advisers in Nam but after that things got hot and more US military was sent their. Like the one guy said he joined the Airborne because he knew he was going to get drafted anyway.

LOL! Horse crap NCO's, if they aren't stealing the Russian recruit's pay they are sexually assaulting them. Promotions over the rank of captain require bribes to the senior officers. Eventually China will take back the Asian territory the Russians stole in the 1800's, then make the rest of Russia their underlings.

Bragg was a lousy general, didn't deserve to be honored. Should have been renamed Fort Ridgeway instead of generic "Liberty".
