The crazy and bizarre truth about Starfield is that the main story didn't even need anything bizarre. Because the lore and setting are so fleshed out that it makes the main narrative design even more.... different? Jarring? Dimensional? The narrative design of the Artifact, Temples didn't even need to be there. It's good stuff because The Hunter was legitimately designed to be "the evil player role" that you can play in all Bethesda games. But instead they could have set the main story up with what I like to call "main story factions" that are different than the side story factions such as UC, Freestar Ranger, Ryujin etc. But main story factions like House Va'ruun and even this strange Ecliptic (especially how cool both of their replacement armor mods are) where in the beginning of the story you meet up With Constellation and you start learning about this "Colony War" where Xenobiology weapons were used etc and you do all the regular jazz BGS main story stuff with Constellation until you start gaining attention (the unknown Narrative design of Artifacts and Temples can be used because I actually still love the idea here) where you and Constellation have Unearthed this big find that literally warps humanities perspective and gain attention of antagonistic "main story factions" such ad Ecliptic, House Va'ruun etc and the second and third act of this story is how the galaxy is starting to heat up and even the leaderboard of New Atlantis gets very worried that a "Second" war is inevitable because, like how war doesn't change, the themes here could've been that people never change.

Dear developers from Bethesda Game Studios, I have several minimalistic proposals for you that will make the Starfield gaming experience better and more systematic. Below is a description of the solution with a list of the benefits of its implementation. 1) Add new workbenches to the game in outposts and ships for disassembling and crafting equipment. For example, you can add 3 types: 1) for spacesuits, helmets, backpacks; 2) for weapons; 3) for clothes and hats. On these workbenches, you can disassemble any found equipment. If it has any rarity and additional properties, the hero studies them. Then, using the mined resources, you can create, for example, a disassembled weapon. And then improve it, increasing the rarity (if the minimum required number of effects has been studied). In this case, the effects can be selected independently, like enchantment in Skyrim. Unique weapons are produced immediately with their unique effects and with the required rarity, which eliminates the need to further improve them. Same with spacesuits and clothes. You can add 3 new parks to the game - one for each type of workbench. The first level of the perk is the ability to create basic equipment. The second level and above - the ability to increase the rarity of equipment. Benefits of this innovation: + The player is given the opportunity to create a character build himself and play it more deeply. Without the need to use what he accidentally found, and does not suit your style. + Additional gameplay elements encouraging exploration, resource extraction and construction of outposts. + The ability to switch to a new game plus without the fear of losing your favorite, hard-earned equipment. 2) Add the ability to link an outpost to any settlement for automatic sale of resources. Benefits of this innovation: + Additional benefits from outposts, adding value to the player from their construction. + Remove the need to fill the player's and companion's pockets with resources and wait for hours in front of the store every time the seller does not have enough money to immediately buy all the resources. 3) Add in the new game plus the ability to buy from Walter Stroud (or in a more suitable place) your ship, with which you entered Unity last time. Perhaps you can also buy a network of your outposts from him. In terms of plot, this can be explained as custom production according to blueprints. Benefits of this innovation: + Additional opportunity to spend found credits. + Increases the value of building a ship and outposts in a global sense. + Deprives the player of the fear of switching to a new game plus with the loss of his ship and outposts, on the construction of which he spent a lot of time and was happy with the result. Starfield players reading this, like the comment to promote it if you want to see such innovations in the game. Write an answer, what other advantages in your opinion these innovations can give or what disadvantages they will add to the game.

Because Bethesda expects people to pay money for creations that even sometimes sport tags such as lore-friendly yet somehow it's not "good enough" to keep achievements enabled even if it's paid content. That just seems disrespectful towards the creators and the players at the same time. Is what I am guessing. Some players might also not want to miss out on filling their achievement checklist while also being able to download something as silly as a new outfit that has 0 impact on the actual games' balance or gameplay...without it disabling said part of the game.

Why do Creations not made by Bethesda still disable achievements? PC players can very easily bypass said restriction and mod their game however much they want without disabling achievements. Absolutely ridiculous that you're planning on yearly DLC releases, which will most likely include new achievements, alongside heavily promoting Creations from Verified Creators, which will disable said new achievements. It's such an oxymoron.
