bulk pancake mix 8 cups all -purpose flour 6 tablespoons baking powder 3 tablespoon sugar 4 teaspoons baking soda 2 teaspoon salt Instructions For the Pancake Mix: Combine all the ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. Store in an airtight container or mason jar. Label the container using the printable labels from Walking on Sunshine Recipes. To Make the Pancakes: Shake the mix first before measuring out the cup of pancake mix. You want to make sure the ingredients are properly distributed and haven't settled before making the pancakes. Combine 1 cup pancake mix, 1 egg 1 cup milk together in a mixing bowl. Whisk together until smooth. Heat a griddle and grease with butter or non-stick cooking spray. Using a ⅓ cup measuring spoon, pour the batter on the hot griddle. Cook until bubbles appear. Flip and continue cooking another minute or until the bottom side is golden brown. Serve immediately. Notes This recipe is enough to make 2 large mason jars. It will make 4 recipes of pancakes, each recipe making 32 pancakes. Recommended P

A basic muffin mix I've used for years (25 yrs hospitality) is only 5 ingredients (makes 12 cafe size muffins or 24 + cupcake size).. 5 cups SR flour, 2 cups sugar(easily use 1), 2 eggs, 600 ml buttermilk (or milk/milk substitute with a dash of vinegar) and 130gr melted butter. I ALWAYS add vanilla, then any fruits around. Would be an easy mix to jar, she just needs to add milk, egg, butter and whatever dried fruit or fresh fruit around The word for the pork mix is 'emulsified 😉 Not sure if you have heard, but a bunch of Aussie pages have had their channels deleted because they have even slightly shown their kids face's, it devastating.. just a heads up because I absolutely do not want that happen to you xx Happy Easter to you and your family

Yum! Everything looked amazing especially the dumplings/ potstickers. I used to get a good deal on egg roll wrappers and often used those for wontons too but the price has gotten high here. Makes me want some. Do you pick your shopping based on your schedule and your moms or more closer to the date based on what food you had left? I think you do a great job stretching your food so you just end up with boring foods at the end. It’s so hard to have others in the kitchen when you have so many things to do so totally agree with what you said about getting off track.
@OurSmallFootprint7 ай бұрын
I mostly used to do it 6 weekly because most of my income was paid fortnightly so it worked well like that, but now I'll be sort of figuring out based on when income comes in and how we're going with food, we never have nothing left by the end of the shopping period, but we definitely lack some of the more convenient stuff and sometimes we run really short on veggies, I just don't have the room in the freezer for huge amounts of frozen veg, its one thing that I would prefer more of a stockpile of! But the garden was supposed to provide a bit this year too and it hasn't unfortunately.
@NOVAFrugalFamily7 ай бұрын
@@OurSmallFootprintI also gave up and stopped gardening which seems silly but I am in a busier area with tons of stores within minutes. If freezer room was unlimited, having the veggies would be amazing but you make so many amazing meals all the way through the time. The timing of shopping trips is certainly hard especially when you have to plan so far ahead. I mean the hamper you get could hold you over for a little bit longer if it landed in a good spot but it is certainly hard to know all of the things ahead of time.

We have a variety of things, we really love bacon and maple syrup hehe, but sometimes I grab a jar of blueberries off the shelf and turn it into a sauce or some cinnamon stewed apples as well! the kids like them with peanut butter too lol. Hi do you have any good recipes for a gluten free dairy free quiche. With not tomato or meat please. As I go to a craft group in Tara. Some ladies have dietary requirements. Thank you.
@OurSmallFootprint7 ай бұрын
I make a frittata a lot, which means I don't have to worry about pastry and do it dairy free, I basically do 12 eggs with 1 cup of coconut milk and a little fat of some sort to help it not stick oil/ghee/whatever(or your milk of choice) add any spices I want, fill a pie dish with any veg/meat/whatever I want and pour it over and cook. It works really well, grease your pan or do it in silicone for it to come out easier for presentation, but its not too bad! But that same ratio would work well in a gluten free pastry base too. I like to wilt spinach/silverbeet in the pan before adding it, and then we add whatever we have on hand, corn, peppers, zucchini anything works! :D
