I've tried Lucky Bags twice and was disappointed both times. At this point, I'm happy to just watch others open them. Same with advent calendars. I love the surprise, but I've realized I'm better off just buying what I want.

I bought the Beautylish Lucky Bag this year and got a Charlotte Tilbury "Darling" palette that I already owned and a Wayne Goss lipstick in a shade I already had. My wins were a Herbivore Serum, Sonia G Brush and a Surratt cream eyeshadow which is stunning and brands I hadn't tried before . There was a Good Molicules product, but can't remember what it was, not the oil. The value was there in the box but I wouldn't have bought those things. Its hard to get excited about double ups when you see unboxings online getting Danessa Myricks and Natasha Denona palettes. I'll be interested to hear your thoughts on the new concealers once you've had more time with them.

I got the Beautylish lucky bag for the last two years - first year I was really pleased with it, I got the hindash monochromance and I liked the Wayne Goss lipstick and liner. Hair products I’m never excited about, and I got the same oil as you and brush. This year me and my sister got the exact same box! There was nothing objectively bad in it, but I was irrationally upset at my lack of surprise after watching her open her box first! 😂 I got the xenon palette from ND, which me 10 years ago would have loved, but just isn’t my taste now. Luckily I managed to trade it for the retro glam. I also got a Wayne goss blush that I never would have picked but is really nice. As someone that doesn’t buy that much makeup anymore I do like the lucky bags to try something new, but after my experience this year I’m not sure if I will go for it next time.

ahh that's a shame the surprise was ruined for you but I agree with you, sometimes it's better to just judge how you feel about buying it when the time comes around and not worry too much about fomo lol

I bought the Naked Sundays illuminating tinted sunscreen and whilst it’s effective as a sunscreen, it’s so sparkly and wet looking that I feel like an extra in Twilight. Nothing refined about the glow. I’ve also got really dry skin and the only way I can wear it is to powder it with Hourglass finishing powder to take down the shine and glitter. Then it looks quite lovely, but you can still see some of the glitter peeking through

I so enjoy your content, where you are honestly at with your beauty purchases and beauty life! I think all I bought in Feb was a Chanel cheek stick. BUT I did go through my cupboards to clean out old products. I was so disappointed at the Beautylish Lucky Bag, I will never buy another one. It was false advertising, I got that awful WG palette and Chinese plastic nylon brushes. I burned one the brushes to watch the plastic curl up amd reflect on how I wasted my money.

I had a major haul last year in Feb. There is a retinol skincare brand name ROC that I love, and they had a buy 1 get one sale on their site AND they had a glitch on their site where it also applied to their 50% off products. I bought six bottles each of my two holy grail serums. They’ll last me for years. I was on a buyer’s high for months after that. Still get dizzy thinking about it. 😊

Hi Hailey, great vid thanks for sharing, I think you’ve done well on the purchasing, the items I’ve bought are mostly skincare as I hit my target of 100 products lighter but found I’d depleted my backup stock of skincare, what I bought though will get used up this year so not mad at myself, my extra treats - face feels dehydrated so I treated myself to the fundamental watery drop you raved about and the Tony moly lip stain Kat raves about and Kenzo flower edp for the memories 😊❤
