You've got to read the BFG, it's so lovely. All of Dahl's other books have an element that's slightly creepy to me but I love love the BFG. Happy to hear good things about Glass Sword, I have to get my hands on it!

I bought 12 books at the kids book fair this past week, mostly children's books. My favorite one so far is Study Hall of Justice; it's a cute little graphic novel for 4-6 graders. I read it in about an hour before handing it off to my 7 year old who read it in one day. It's a cute little book, which will hopefully be a great early reader series.

I was brought up on the Roald Dahl books - they are all wonderful. My favourites include the twits, charlie and the chocolate factory, the witches and james and the giant peach.

You can get the stickers off of the cover by getting a blow dryer and warm up the sticker

Such a great video Jesse!!! I was smiling the whole time watching it :-) BFG and Charlie and the Chocolate factory are my favourite books by Roald Dahl. Also recommend "Wonderful story of Henry Sugar" by him. It's a short novella and it's absolutely mindblowing!

the uk version or the one you can pre order in my favourite book shop of lady midnight has dark blue pages and I'm getting a signed copy because you can either get a normal book with that cover and blue pages or a signed book that has the angelic rune all over and isn't as nice so I'm gonna get the nice cover one and get her to sign it when she goes on tour excited is an understatement

Hasn't the BFG been a movie for ages? I remember watching it when I was a kid. Definitely one of my favourite childhood books, Roald Dahl was a genius with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda & the BFG as my favourites. I visited his grave on a school trip and the Roald Dahl museum in Buckinghamshire. It was the cutest little village, loved it. But nothing quite beats Harry Potter first 3 as the best childhood books.
