A gave a friend of mine copies of the Paycheck Budget Tracker. She was going thru a divorce and was not in charge of the budget. I told her how to do it and how it has helped me. She was thankful for the help!

I am so glad you did this video!! I have followed you for years, but ALWAYS got lost on the tracking of both the envelopes and sinking funds! I grouped them together and was always frustrated on why things were NEVER making sense at the end!! Thank You!

I’m at 3:08…. It just clicked. I got so frustrated a few months back and stopped budgeting because I don’t use cash, but instead spend on my credit card for rewards. The documenting and counting of the credit card payment from my checking just wasn’t making sense. This is so helpful! Thanks!

🙏💔❤️ sorry for your loss. Anytime I use a sinking fund. I do it as a transfer as incoming dollar amount to match the amount of money I’ve spent. For example, I would put a $600 transfer from sinking funds into my checking account and then show the $600 for the cats burial.

I feel like with this video it clicked a bit. I will have to watch it again. But, mainly what is a problem is getting my husband to work with me as i feel like we are so different on budgeting and why we are still living the way we do. But, I can't get him to see another way. 🤷🤦I know he tries to do better with budgeting but I think this would be a good idea for us.

Hi! Why 1.318,00 that you take from your envelopes from the bank is not written in the cash as a positive? I imagine is easier to get the starting balance from the bank but are you not working with starting balance also with cash? Thank you so much for your answer and for being so helpful 🙏
