This was an awesome lower income budgeting video. A lot of ppl don’t make lots of money and I think watching those with larger incomes can be discouraging to them. They may feel like they need to make a lot of money to start budgeting and payoff debt or just may not see a way out. This was me a few years ago. But then I found you and started my journey. Thank you! More of these please!

This was me very recently so I can totally relate. I just paid off all delinquent payday loans 2 months ago and my 2 collections last week. Also 6 credit cards paid off and an installment loan. Finishing the second installment loan this month and 6 credit cards left. Slowly but surely I’m making a dent in my debt. 😊 Love your channel and I’m happy you show multiple types of budgets.

I love seeing these real life budgets. Its all about choices and sometimes we don't always make the best one but then how to fix that, like paying the delinquent balances, chip away at a credit card at a time, and keep in mind the saving goals, even 43 feels nice when its been zero.

This boils down to living outside your means.... low income + luxury subscriptions and fancy items (phone upgrade, tablet, high car payment) = recipe for disaster. It’s okay to not being able to afford iPhone or Iwatch, AirPods, iPads...none of these are worth going into debt and stressing over (take it from someone who has already been through the process of changing my financial outlook, there is light at the end of the tunnel!)

It's amazing how you can take a persons numbers even when they are so over extended as this person is and almost magically find money for them to start saving and paying down debt. I wish I'd learned this stuff years ago, but at least I'm learning now and putting it into practice. My finances look so different than the last 30 years.

This makes so much sense. I am using my last paycheck of the month as my 1st check of the next month, because I have lot of bills the first week fo the month, and I need things to visually make sense. I was out of work for a while this year and found the perfect job that covers my bills, but not much else. After I get some debts paid off at the beginning of October, I will have extra $ that we will put towards our credit card debt.

I love your videos. My husband just retired and I'm considering doing so next year. I use this same method for our budget.(We have just stopped savings as we will be dipping into them next year) We have kept track of income and expenses for over 30 years. When we started, we had student loans that were mind boggling and we were getting further into debt each month as my husband was still in university. We've been able to purchase a house and help our children through university. We even taken our kids, and partners, on vacations, and took my mother to Greece. All with cash! If I can ask a personal question: Is that your kitchen? It's stunning.

Everyone has 2 minutes a month to make their own organic cleaners that save hundreds for years to come. Glass cleaner with vinegar and water Multy purpose with vinegar and orange peels + cinnamon stick Paper towels with cloth Hang me downs from friends for her daughter Take buses whenever possible Aldi store instead of big chains All this can save 200 more than she had. She can grow potatoes on her balcony to supplement some of her food. There are many ways. Going low waste can also lower her garbage bill Water can be lowered by putting a bottle of water in the toilet tank and switching to a dry hanger instead of a dryer. Vinegar recipe Warm water 2.5 gal, 2 cups sugar, 1lb old apples cut decored put the lid on and in a month you have vinegar for cleaning and kitchen Baking soda and vinegar for floor tile cleaner and micro Basic first aid for her daughter will save loads of money

This really shows how little a teacher gets paid in parts of the US. In Canada teachers are payed well. Also when teaching went online their salary stayed the same even those who could not teach still got paid. I was wondering though is verizon a cell phone? If so why would it cost $324 per month that seems really high. Another note regarding child support, it looks like the ex is still trying to control things by never paying her on the same day every month. I made sure to get a years worth of posted dated cheques for child support when I got divorced. Every June I would receive the cheques for the coming year

My Verizon was so high because I was paying off several devices and I had upgrade fees etc. I love the idea of post dated child support checks. Wish I had thought of that while going through my divorce. I did try to have the payments automatically deducted from his paychecks so it could be more regular but his employer refused to cooperate and child support wouldn't go after the employer as long as my ex was continuing to pay on time voluntarily. He's been pretty reliable so I don't really push the issue.

After I had already submitted my info to Kumiko we had changed internet providers and my boyfriend ended up taking over the bill so it’s now a non issue 😊

This woman has a $20K car with a $30K a year income. Perhaps, someone needs to tell her she should sell her car and get rid of the $350 a month payment?

She needs to just keep her car when its paid off, not get another car and another loan.

@@kimiivon I am suggesting selling a car, getting rid of her loan and buying a car that costs much less. A $5K is a decent car. She is just not making enough to be able to afford a $20K vehicle

How exactly do you do that without ruining your credit? Usually the car is worth less than you owe . I am very interested in finding out because I am thinking about getting rid of my SUV vs just paying it off. I have no problem driving a less expensive car. But I don’t want to buy someone else’s problem. Any suggestions?

MK Sugerman sell the car and use the money you get for it to repay your loan. If you’re upside down on it, take a smaller (unsecured, personal) loan for the difference from a bank, credit union, etc. It will be much easier to pay off a small unsecured loan than a huge car loan that you can’t afford.

Susan Seriously- it makes no sense to sell a car then buy another one for &5000 (that I don’t have) and take out a personal loan for another $4000.

I like your plans and fully understand how paying cash could be great but more and more places are not accepting cash now, could your system be adapted for card payments and online banking?
