I was an unexperienced investor and i lost over $30K when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I find one source to recover my money, at least $5k profits weekly. Thanks so much Mrs Pam Joan Birnie

High prices for everything have severely affected my plan. I'm concerned if people who went through the 2008 financial crisis had an easier time than I am having now. The stock market is worrying me as my income has decreased, and I fear I won't have enough savings for retirement since I can't contribute as much as before.
@mikeroper353

It's recommended to save at least 20% of your income in a 401k. You can use online calculators to estimate how much you should save based on your age and income. Saving at least 20% of your income in a 401(k) can help ensure that you have enough money to retire comfortably. By saving this much, you can take advantage of investing in the stock market and potentially grow your retirement savings over time.

The uncertainties accompanying this present market is more reasons I have my daily investment decisions guided by a portfolio-coach seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time, both employing profit-oriented strategy and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downtrends, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis, it's quite impossible not to outperform. The next economic catastrophe will be worse because we cannot afford to bail it out like we did the last time. Last time, it should have been worse, and honestly, it wasn't as horrible as it should have been. Furthermore, those who default on their debts will be people with good credit scores and loans with higher interest rates, making the situation much frightening in many ways. Furthermore, we now have inflation depreciating the dollar and markets, when we didn't back then (apart from high gas prices).

@@jasoncortez1238 plandemic just gave us robots, mass unemployment and still a shedload of old people like baby birds in a tree sqwarking for their pension till 100. It's time they got cut off at 80 and were forced to liquidate assets to pay for their rest of their life. If the 40% of every country are living on Food stamps and 5 minutes from homeless whether renting or in a mortgage, it's time the 60% took their medicine and self funded their twilight years from 80-100. Hint my grandparents were dead by 65. GP diagnosed this odd thing called cancer and there was no treatment. Time to go back there. By the time you are seeing a 90 year old having a MRI, you know we are helping the wrong cohort when the guy in a car crash and on a WAIT list for surgery in his 30s is left in agony, but we prop up 75 year olds, we have a serious ethics issue. 1:35 Hmm. Peter is holding on to that one but evidence from 2014-2017 doesn't agree. In that period oil prices halved twice, each time in a year, then doubled in the subsequent year. CPI range was -0 2 to +3%. Well they said 2.9 but let's call it 3. With no change in oil CPI was about 1.7 then. So a halving in oil might be worth only about 1.5-2.0% reduction in CPI. There has to be a lot of demand desteuction also right now also.
