The thing is the US government is the one spending and the Fed Reserve only acts accordingly. So in reality the US is in trouble. We are forced to spend because our government is trying to keep its hegemony. Military aid for all but nothing to balance the economy. We are truly in trouble.

Keynesian dogma is that deficit government spending doesn't create inflation. Ever. So even when it obviously does **gestures wildly to 2021, when inflation started shooting up RIGHT after the Dems passed an enormous deficit spending bill in March of that year**, they refuse to acknowledge it because it's at the core of their entire economic theory.

I hate to say it but what is Trump gonna do about it? For one, Trump isn’t the fiscal responsible candidate we would need to address the situation. For two, this isn’t a new problem that just appeared - only some of the symptoms appeared. This is like a train speeding down the track at full throttle, it’s not going to stop on a dime. Biden may not be slowing the train down at all, but the train was already there.

@Joe-no7gsWhat are you talking about? Home prices under Trump were under $200,000 on average. Today for the same home would cost you $365,000. That definitely affects the rising cost of rent or even buying a home. At the beginning of Trump's presidency The average monthly payment for rent for a three bedroom two bath home would cost you around $800 to $900 per month today that same home would cost you $1,900 today. Utility bills have gone up, car insurance has gone up, gasoline has gone up and groceries have gone up, way up! This happened all under Joe Biden's watch.

That's not how it works at all. You don't only look at the federal interest rate. You have all sorts of data and gamma values. But even simply put, you have to consider GDP as well as the independent inflation rate. Both of which are higher than they were four years ago and show little signs of stabilizing compared to stabilization periods in the past. Literally everything is worse😅 historic average my ass. We have to look at the whole picture, don't cherry pick data

Money is still too cheap to borrow, people need to lose money at this point. Government needs to stop spending like a drunken sailor, banks will need to fail, it has to collapse. This is not sustainable. Government intervention into bank failures and bailouts ruin the natural course of bad decisions. Allow banks to fail without bailouts, people will lose money but that’s the point. Either collapse completely or deal with insane inflation. Consumer debt is astronomical even with ridiculous credit card rates. People are living beyond their means, we need to wake up.

There's no supply. Won't be a correction until there's significantly more supply somehow. Boomers selling houses won't help much because they're just downsizing and out-competing first time home buyers for small ranches. We need more small house developments but those don't have a profit motive
