Hello, I was employed by government contractor & a subcontractor for over 11 years here locally on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville Alabama. I've lived here all my life. We also have NASA & Space Camp. I would love to sub from a primary or even sell products to government, just don't know where to start. Thanks

@@FedAccess We have both SBIR and STTR projects underway with the DOD. As I indicated to you before we have contracts and grant projects in Europe with the European Union defense agency and the United Kingdom. We are a nonprofit company that operates a for-profit subsidiary in Europe. The contracting process in Europe is NOT as cumbersome as it is here in the U.S. Again thank you for all of your help.

Hello how are you doing i had a quick question How do i email or send the subcontractor the sow from a solicitation to get a quote do i screen shot it or download also when assuming my subs past performance price tech etc how do i ask for those in detail from the sub so i can present it to the CO for the solicitation
@FedAccess Жыл бұрын
You can download the SOW when you download the solicitation. It will either be part of the solicitation document or provided as a separate attachment. For your second question, when you send the company a request for proposal, specify what information you want them to provide, e.g., past performance, technical approach, price.

….also redact solicitation for the part where you’re subcontracting to the company and ensure an NDA is signed before hand and by both parties.

I love your videos! They are a godsend and really helping me navigate this process. Will you make a video on budget development/formatting? How do I know how much is too much to charge? I want to submit a bid, but I don't want to submit the lowest and screw myself over. Also, do you ever do one on one coaching for newbies?!
@FedAccess2 жыл бұрын
I think you'll learn alot by submitting your first bid. Just make sure it's not too low - I don't want you to lose money. When the contract is awarded they will tell you the awarded price, and you can see how close you were. What does your business do?

Want to make a move from oil and gas epc contracts to govt contracts. I have a legal background and I enjoyed this. Is there any certifications to be obtained for FARS/DFARS
@1mandrywallarmytv1448 ай бұрын
does it take a long time the DoD to make a decision on who to award a contract to. Do subs need to be registered on Sam on the date of the bid due date, or can they still sneak in as a sub as long as they registered by the award date? Thank you in advance
@FedAccess8 ай бұрын
Subcontractors do not need to be registered in SAM, however, in some cases they need to have a UEI number. The time to award a contract can vary widely from days to months depending upon the contract.

Hi. I opened a solicitation with a construction clause. Are we suppose to fill in anything on it? There are a few check boxes asking about the type of business the offeror is such as small or vet owned etc. Wasn't sure if we are suppose to do that or the contracting officer. ?Thanks
@FedAccess8 ай бұрын
It sounds like you're talking about the reps and certs. That is something filled out by the business.
@allenpatrickw12022 жыл бұрын
Were can you find that actual contract to check the FAR clauses that apply?
@FedAccess2 жыл бұрын
They will be in the Solicitation. Many people are confused by this. The Solicitation document contains the FAR clauses that apply. That's why i constantly ask people to read the solicitation.
