Ran Dyntech defense for last years carry still have 8 boxes stuff runs great really accurate. Ran it in ballistic gel through heavy clothing got consistent 14.5 penetration of the core and 6 to 8 inches on each petal wound track. I would trust it again without a doubt

I live in Pennsylvania and I work in Delaware... I literally go to seven or eight different gun shops every week and pick out at least one box of whatever I can get that I need.... and when I walked in the door they look at me and they say which one and I tell them... A couple of them have already cut me off from certain calibers so now we play the old who’s working that night game so they don’t recognize you LOL...They are still a bunch of great guys and I appreciate them I bought many guns off of all of them and they know the real customers from the fakes

I was just watching your video on the Federal 9mm 138 Syntech Defense ammo & it looks nearly identical to ammo I used to have in the late 1980's which was also Federal 9mm NYCLAD hollow points. At least at the time it's advantages were it didn't wear on the barrel rifling like FMJ rounds & it mushroomed better on impact.

Ordered mine about the same time you posted, I think about the on 3rd, Just got it a few days ago (UPS), I got the 150 gr. syntech and HST 124gr. plus American Eagle 115 gr. Can't hardly wait to use some on the range. As always thanks for the great tip on ammo. Totally satisfied. You "Rule". Thanks again, now that I'm stocked back up. I'll have to try out the 138 syntech defense, seems like something worth trying out. Shoot up some full 2 liters, lol, shake one up and see how much it fizzes.

Places like Cabelas and A few others have Absolutely nothing in most popular Calibers that's pretty scary actually.. I wonder if it will get to to point of Some sort of Rationing system and people will only be allowed a certain amount per month. I know Some states you cannot buy ammo without a special license or permit.

I noticed more than a couple online places showed they had stock at times today. I thought I picked up 5 boxes from Brownells but they cancelled the order an hour lately. A little bummed because the price wasn't bad and in thinking I had some on the way I passed on a couple other chances. Also because I shot a little because I thought replacements were on the way...lol. This ammo searching for fair priced stuff is becoming a full time job. I quit sleeping at night. I think Federal’s website prices are their regular MSRP prices, which in normal times is several dollars more than the street prices. I placed an order with them last week. The ammo I ordered was $2 a box cheaper than local prices.

For anyone who happens to be reading this on Tuesday there has been 9mm Sig Sauer 365 FMJ available at Cabelas and Bass Pro for most of the day. I ordered some at 3:30 am but still shows stock now. $15.99 isn't the cheapest but with free ship over $50. That comes in around 33 cents per. Not the worst you could do....

Another great video and in reading this, 2A Edu, please make sure to skim to the bottom couple paras and interesting you did your unboxing video right after I was finally able to go to a local Gun Show (we've had to fight for months, where I live, having to cancel 2 months in a row), till the past few days! But, I finally “made out” and wanted to bring up something that was related to your Video, plus. As said, I was able to go to the gun show and, this is what you get for being a loyal patron or good customer and/or keeping your word about simply coming back (whether for a sale or not), which I did for ALL but one (I forgot)! He actually had some reloads he did himself and will be in the area a few months... until he moves to North Carolina! I just remembered that, too and the prices were $15! Oh well, I have his card. I feel badly, though and I'll contact him. So, I was able to go to the first gun show in my area in months and was able to get a couple of boxes of 9mm Federal 124 grain, from a guy I've bought from before and will again, at the $25 range=”Good!” I also bought a box of Winchester Super X 158 Grain .357 SJSP ammo (they sold out within the 1st 2 days, but I have some “HOT” SJSP ammo, as is) at $30 (dropped from $35 for me)! Again, keep your word and... You go far! I went back to the Same vendor and bought a few 50 rd boxes of Remington HTP .38 +P ammo at $35 and $30 x 2, no addl charge for cr card, was out of cash, the latter boxes for my .357/.38 Lever Action and S&W model 66s (I have Much cheaper ammo for plinking with). So, I finally have enough ammo to be in the “okay” to “good” range, depending on the firearms. And, finally, was able to get up to a case, but only bought a box of All Brass (I checked), of 9mm Red Army Standard Elite Bonded ammo (never heard of, I think you brought it up, though?) - and they had a case+, right at the end, still, for $20ish/box, they had some other 9mm at $30+, but I got their card, too! I told them I'd be back around and did! So, finally having “enough” 9mm ammo and, definitely .38 and .357 ammo for “plinking,” at home, without being “greedy” and Not “destroying,” just “hurting” my wallet, but paying more... but “less” than others - as I showed=treat people the way you want to be treated, come back around and you get a LOT and only yesterday did most pull out what they had left of their 9mm ammo! I forgot to pick up some .25 ammo, yep... .25! I have a nickel Beretta .25 and the ammo was only $1-$2 more than usual at one place (expensive, normally)! I can wait on more, there, and have enough .380 and .22, given the prices! But, had I needed any shotgun, I'd have been “okay.” We need to buy .40, 10mm, .41, plus and I'm probably going to be getting another firearm. I kept debating and this shop knows me... Now, I also wore 2 stickers on my 2 pocketed shirt! One being for the VCDL=”Guns Save Lives,” which I'm a member of, since the 90s, and checked in on them, the 2nd time they gave me a gift! Really! Why? I simply decided to help out, because I also had a “Daniel Gade for Senate” info packet that showed right above that (running in VA) and a certain “2A/2a edu” sticker, which I got several comments about and I said to read the fine print! That = 3 people and or groups that I was representing, brother, though I belong to the GOA, FPC, NRA, VSSF, VCDL, USCCA, plus... also, 2A edu and GnG! I chose those 3 ("VCDL," and "2A/2A edu" & the "Dan Gade for VA Senate" pamphlet(s) that showed above the VCDL sticker, like a 3rd) at that show though, 2A brothers and sisters, bringing up Patriot edu, my friend! Yep! I hope that some more VA, DC and MD residents will come aboard! Yes, I really did and explained that it was also a YT channel and you were a regular guy, like US, with a great show! Lastly, I also gave out and talked about some other local politicians, with some local people (Northern VA, DC and MD) giving out info packets about them; however, Daniel Gade is the Senatorial Challenger that I really back, going up against Senator Mark Warner, who I have conversations with his staff often; emails and letters+ with him, on occasion! Now, Dan Gade is a very Libertarian Republican, having lost a leg, fighting for our freedom overseas. He “left” as a Lt. Colonel, been following “the Oath” he took to uphold the Constitution, since age 17, and gave a leg for the U.S./US! I won't go on, except to say that he is going against a very wealthy Liberal Senator, Warner, who only won by 8% last time and that was his lowest win! So, that said, 2a Edu and all, I really like to think that I don't “go overboard,” as I could have gotten some more 9mm Federal ammo from a friend and person that I bought from, I fight for our Rights and I keep my Wordl! That is what I like about You, 2A Edu and all that I've met here! Hit up GunBroker you can grab 9mm FMJ for about .50 cents a round which, I know isn't great but when local shops are gouging for .90 cents a round its an easier pill to swallow. Depending on your carry load you can find some good deals there too, I found 1k of 9mm 124 HST for .70 cents a round. Other than that, if you have a CAL's ranch in your area, mine has been selling at .28 cents a round but it goes fast even with the three box limit. Get what you can if you need it, and if you're like me and have some to sit on, let some other people get what they need to protect their life and liberty.

Yes it's been hard finding ammo, any pistol ammo especially. Hollow points are harder to find then the other. Just don't understand why hollow points are so much higher then full metal jacket, and you only get 20 hollow points in a box.

I've shot a good bit of both, never had an issue. The defense ammo seems to pattern higher than hornaday critical defense. I bought a good stash when wally world had it on clearance for 9.99 when they were selling of thier handgun ammo. Btw i have been able to place a few orders with Bass pro, picked up some sig Sauer 9mm elite preformance for 14.99. Just try to order early in am and keep checking. Picked up herters .40 s w for 15.99 50ct as well.

I ordered mine on 8-13 status still shows as new but since they are behind it should ship sometime this week which for the price they charge I don't mind waiting the extra time. Rather pay half the price and wait a couple weeks than pay double the price and get it in a week.

I don't have any problem finding ammo, my problem is paying for it, 500 .22 are $90, .40 and .45 are .80 cents a round and up! last December .40 was $10.99 for 50, and .45 was $11.99 for 50, good grief!
