I test insert magazines and the magazines half of the time would not hold the slide back. It seems after observing from the top that When inserting the magazine, it weNT slightly to the right causing the follower to not engage the slide lock. The pistol as we speak is in the hands of fedex flying back to Taurus.

I'm not sure on the older ones but I just got a new tx22 compact and wow that things amazes me , it has the 22 round clip, and it will eat any and everything. Shot 500 rounds the first day I got it, allot of those shots were as fast as I could pull the trigger, not even one hiccup. I've never had a 22 pistol to do that and I have the Ruger mark 4 , the old Browning Taurus knocked it way outta the park on this gun

ok, I'm a now G2C owner...my uncle passed last September and I ended up getting his guns which in those guns had a g2c. he bought it brand new I know he only fired maybe 10 to 15 rounds out of it before he passed from cancer.
