They're not buying any bonds or other securities. They're just lowering rates. We also won't see any results from the rate cuts until spring, and by that time we'll have to wait till summer to see the full effects of all of this years rate cuts.

When we run out of savings, all big companies are screwed with their profits. Only necessities will be bought. Those rate cuts are nowhere near enough. Everything went up in cost that the compounding effect of everything going up has overwhelmed salaries. So unless Everything drops to 2019 prices with low interest rates...you can take those rate cuts and shove them where the sun don't shine, we are BROKE, we lost savings, we learned the lesson, NECESSITIES ONLY. If we sink, then corporation profits sink with us by force.

@@454bard inflation is caused by high demand. If people stop buying shit, then there will be no need for prices to continuously go up. remember the initial inflation was caused by the Covid money printing. That money is long gone so only time will tell how the economy reacts.

@@chuckchan4127Home quality is at all times low, rates will start to drop. I project 4% rate by end of 2025. We are at 5.9% already before this cut was announced. Low rates = more buyers = higher prices = bidding wars = more money for us all!

As of today interest rates are these. 30 yrs 6.954 15 yrs 5.645 10 yrs 7.352 So I don't see any change from last week interest. I'm still talking to the guy who is helping me to buy house and he said not much of change.
