I still can’t get over what she did to her beautiful lil boys. The whole country was shocked and heartbroken that day. I couldn’t even watch the boys dad being interviewed without crying. He was totally devastated 💔

Hell NO!! She watched her 2 boys die drown in the lake 30 years ago!! Let her stay in jail for her natural born life and let her think every night what she did to them poor boys...I can't even imagine those last minutes the boys strapped them carseats, then the audacity blaming on a black man!! Let her rot in jail FOREVER!!

Jail is where defendants await trial & / or serve short sentences. Prison is where convicted felons like Susan Smith serve long sentences.

Its not exactly the most heard of for someone convicted on a murder charge to make parole. Not only that, its not exactly the most unheard of to make parole even if you have had some rule infractions. But before someone on a murder charge to make parole, the corcumstances of the crime are taken into consideration. Whatever mitigating issues, etc. Plus that parole board has to know they're not going to be made sorry for letting that person out on parole. But in Susan Smiths case, She is the lowest form of a "murderer." She killed two little kids by trapping them in her car and letting them drown. Nobody likes anyone who harms little kids on any level. I dont care if you're a model inmate, i dont care whatever good you may do while in prison. If you kill kids, there is no redemption from something like that. Keep in mind, some of the parole board members probably have children of their own. And can nowhere near fathom what she did to her own kids. I say its a fair bet shes not going anywhere. IF she ever does make parole, she will probably be somewhere in her 70s or 80s. IF EVEN THEN.

It depends on the makeup of the parole board… If the board is made up of extremely lenient and progressive people she may be freed.
