How about if she didn't commit election interference she wouldn't be in this mess? This is all her own fault, and she doesn't feel bad about what she did. No remorse. She deserves what she got, the expense is a non-issue for all of us that vote.

I'm asking myself 9 years why not 15, what went wrong? This lady is one of the primary causes of American's not trusting voting systems - you can't punish someone enough for that. I saved the judges sentencing and have listened to it multiple times already - absolutely brilliant. Hearing this guy say he empathizes with Tina is disgusting. Empathy requires feeling like it could happen to you - you see a cop going at a suspect who is cooperating and you empathize with the suspect because you see yourself in their actions, you think "that could be me - I'd have done the exact same thing as that person"; and then you have the suspects who are rude and violent and disrespectful and you DON'T empathize because you think "I'd never do that while I'm with a cop, that behavior is so inappropriate". Tina is in the second side - she did countless things I would NEVER do and know to be illegal and immoral - I can't feel empathy for someone in that situation any more than I could feel empathy for someone being willfully obstinate with a cop. What about Tina's behaviors provide any opportunity for empathy?

We are not at the top rung of the ladder yet. Fast forward to Trump. You know, the one she reported to, the one she did it all for, and remember that he is not being held accountable. Yet instead he is being supported for the third time to take the keys to The White House.. He is behind all of this. There is a huge problem when the fact that all roads lead to Trump is being blatantly ignored. So many people who did wrong for him are now felons, yet he is still out there building fires, fanning the flames and creating more felons.

"Judge" Matthew Barrett is a registered Democrat Socialist (aka he's a Communist) and a stooge/asset for the Communist Cabal composed of the CIA, FBI, DoD. This Cabal is the one really running the country, and it has the judiciary in its back pocket. There were no comprehensive election audits performed and voting was done digitally via computers ("voting machines") which are easily hacked by the CIA via a "backdoor" that's in all computers/voting machines, smartphones. A forensic fraud expert had analyzed the election voting results from 2020 and found a high probability of fraud in the elections. To really get down to discover the accuracy of his conclusion, the state governments would need to do a comprehensive election audit, which they, except for one state, refused to do. This is analogous to someone whom the cops had stopped on the highway for suspicion of a high probability of DUI, and that person refusing to do a Breathalyzer test and Field Sobriety Test. Same difference with the state governments. But since they're Marxist state governments they get a pass and escape accountability. However, that person who refused the Breathalyzer test would automatically be proclaimed guilty by the same state judiciary for refusing the test. Notice the disparate treatment here?

This is a sad example of self-implosion. At 69, she could potentially die alone in prison and will not be by her mother’s side when she passes. Those of us who are in or work for the government take our oath very seriously. Nine years seems harsh but a lack of personal accountability and humility brought this on.

Her lawlessness and arrogance has put her exactly where she belongs. She doesn't care about how her acts affect others or her family, and encouraging her to fool the judge with fake contrition is a disservice to the public. She didn't steal a candy bar or shoplift a bottle of perfume from a department store. She didn't rob a bank. Her act was so much worse. If she thought the voting machines were rigged, she had plenty of legal alternatives. For personal gain and glory, she worked very hard to disenfranchise the vote of thousands of voters in her district, and helped others to undermine our social institutions and public trust in the voting process, all to put a traitor and felon back in the White House. Against the judge's order, she continued the bad behavior that is a threat to democracy. Her conduct showed the judge exactly who she is, and the judicial process worked just fine; the judge acted appropriately. Nine years is more than fair; with good behavior she'll be out in four. As a taxpayer, I don't mind the cost of keeping such vile people behind bars, especially if it's a deterrent to others who would undermine our democratic republic for their own benefit.

This is a serious question: if you think Trump will be good for the prison system, it stands to reason you think highly of the judges he has appointed. It stands to reason you would likely condone most of their rulings. So… you think the immunity ruling was constitutional? Dobbs? You think the docs case should have been dismissed bc special prosecutors don’t exist? I just wanna get a baseline… *I agree we need massive reform and I’m not in love with the cost of incarceration either - I live in the wretchedly poor state of NH but our governor decided to spend god knows how much money arresting 90 Dartmouth students for peacefully protesting, including a 65 year old tenured professor of Jewish studies there to protect the pro-Palestine protestors. I shudder to think how much the deployment for that night alone cost. My town doesn’t have an ambulance; where do you think I want the money spent? But you’re still out of your mind if you think the guy who called for the termination of the constitution will be better for our justice system. Every bit as detached from reality as people who think public schools are giving kids transgender surgeries and Haitians are eating people’s pets.

I'm actually done giving them the benefit of the doubt or trying to reinterpret "what they were thinking", because they do not and never will think about the world in the same way I do. I'm also done with anyone who sits up there and does the reinterpretation. They did what they did, the facts are the facts, lies can be fact checked. Period. Done. Dusted. Jail. Better that than vote tampering and and an illegitmate fascist regime. I'm that done.

She had to STEAL a pass from another employee to get the IT guy into the restricted area to copy those hard drives. Tell me that was above the line actions. She shows NO remorse for her crimes and as you said, still portrays herself as "doing her job." She's had her day and a jury has deliberated for less than 4 hours and came back with a GUILTY verdict. Deludes herself into believing she is a Child of God. So when will she realize that her 9 year sentence is the Will fo God too? And most of all, the judge was sending a strong msg to all the other MAGA govt election officials out there who might consider similar or other violations of our election laws. "There will be consequenses for your actions and it could be a 9 year sentence in prison."

First, you're a communist, so you don't understand individual honesty, pride, integrity, guts. Second, "Judge" Matthew Barrett is a registered Democrat Socialist (aka he's a Communist) and a stooge/asset for the Communist Cabal composed of the CIA, FBI, DoD. But since they're state governments with Marxist leanings they get a pass and escape accountability. However, that person who refused the Breathalyzer test would automatically be proclaimed guilty by the same state judiciary for refusing the test. Notice the disparate treatment here?

If you have to go to court, shower, wear your best church clothes and shut your mouth and say yes sir/ ma’am when directed to speak. Anything less than that will bite you in the ass come sentencing. She's a criminal and acts like the court proceeding was just some ballet that once it's over she can just go home. The judge saw right through her when he said, you'd do it all again.
