@@joshw2929 I think that's his point.. Ferrari parts cost more, generally speaking, so with factory parts, comes factory costs. Some guy running an LS wouldn't have to spend as much if something breaks. edit: although, I do agree that at this level, there's probably not a really huge difference overall.

There's a great video on the running cost of his Ferrari on a per mile basis. It's also the incredibly high cost as to why he can't give ride alongs. One of the most genuine, down to earth and passionate people I've ever met in motorsports. He took up quite a few minutes with my son at FD ATL and we are now fans for life. Much respect to you sir 👏

I remember Federico compete in D1GP until 2015 and D1 street legal (now known as D1 lights) now he formula drift. 10:14 Federico said in Japan have drift Ferrari. 360 modena with liberty walk kit owned by Arios, one of them was MMM Racing Ferrari 550 with VR38 big single Turbo compete in D1GP in 2019 but unfortunately Ferrari 550 couldn't handle it.

I love this car. When i saw it first time drifting, it thought: "WTF is he doing?? He drifts a Ferrari!". Who ist this guy. Where can i see more of him?" Keep going this incredible journey. We need some Paint in the Wolrd of JDM, BMW and Mustangs. (Don't get me wrong. I love all these cars. But like Larry said. They are not special anymore. A Ferrari or the Aston are special. Something never done before. And in my opinion, that's what a sport needs to grow. Something new).

The gate on the cool side of the turbo intake isn't new thing .a electrictronic wastegate maybe .Ryan tureck put a throttle body on his .

Its clever to have the Wastegate on the Cold in that he is running a Single Turbo, and he always keeps it spooling, then its a reduced type of Anti Lag at low revs without the 'brutal' side effects that Full Anti lag causes to an engine.

How is it any different from a hot side wastegate though. For a second it seemed smart but I can't see any actual benefits + the added extra weight because he still has to have the hotside wastegate as backup. The wastegate only opens once the boost pressure is high and at peak already, so i dont see how its a limiting factor or how it would help with off throttle instances

For those who wondering about Ferrari lawsuits it only happens when a very dumb guy buys a Ferrari straight from a Ferrari dealership and they made the guy sign an agreement to not modify the car. If you buy a Ferrari from your neighbour Joe you can make the hell you want with the car and give two shits to what Ferrari says.
