Very nice video. What an expert mr. Iding is. Reminds me of the real ABARTH, before 1972, he made engines with longer strokes too. And ABARTH became World Champion with it. No wonder why.

This video is so odd Why do u 90% of the time point the camera on your friend talking and keep the owner out of view or in the corner He's clearly not shy to be on camera So why did u do this I find this to be offensive tbh This video is about the owner, not ur friend. Why not have ur friend stand near the owner and have him look at the owner and his translator a moment then the camera a moment Rinse repeat That way the owner feels the enthusiasm and feels respected and feels talked to Instead of feeling like a background charachter I respect u both alot But this was a weird filmed video

I can't wrap my head around the fact Ide-san cast his own V12 engine modeled after the BMW unit in the McLaren F1. His own carbon fiber bumpers, hoods. His own wheel designs. Same shop for 50 years. Nissan came to him to look at the BMW M1 straight-6 for ideas for a motorsport engine. Fascinating to the point of shocking. I never heard of this man but he's my new favorite story.

Japan's tuner always amaze me. This is one of the example by focusing the "ideal" cars should be , putting aside how many horsepower it can produce. Making Enzo Ferrari daily driveable, it's another lever of engineering. Thanks Hagerty Team and Larry Chen for this amazing content.

He is so gangster the way he just hops in that Enzo and touches it off. That confidence only comes from a true master craftsman. Yes craftsman, not mechanic, because when you are designing components at this level you are a craftsman. Phenomenal video. I bet Ferrari doesn't dare give him a cease and desist because the respect him.way too much. Absolute legend!

well he upgrade the performance to next level. not ur typical mods like pink wrap F40 u can see at SEMA last year, or some LBWK widebody F40 that only aim for looks. even if ferrari hates him, they hate it because he do it for the better i guess.

Larry this has to be one of my favorite videos you've shot and I feel extremely lucky to have seen it. The work Ide-san has achieved here I feel has no equal. Japanese cars and Japanese cars culture is undoubtedly my favorite of them all but the quality of the work on the E30, E36 and the Enzo is just unreal and Ide-san deserves all the praise and respect, beyond OEM quality. I would go so far to say if Eno Ferrari himself was alive that he would approve and take his hat off to Ide-san for genuinely making Ferrari's better than the factory.

Cool to see Larry and Dino on Hagerty. Ide san seems so down to earth - apparently very humble about his creations which by any tuning shops standards are at the very highest level. He's clearly a man who's been there, done it, got all the t-shirts and lead a fulfilling life. Whilst personally I'm in two minds as to customizing an Enzo, his work is very clearly at the highest level and is being done with purpose, not just whoring publicity on social media - fair play to him and thanks for the coverage guys. Love the Japanese car scene.

This sort of car modifications gives me goosebumps... It reminds me of Koenig back in the 90s with the twin turbo Ferraris, making upto 1000bhp... It's not even the stroker kit, it's the design work that makes it look as though it could have come out of the Ferrari factory as a one off production car... Such an amazing guy, takes me back to my era of car tuning.....

If you're wondering what Ferrari did with the Ferrari FXX(Enzo) here is a copy/paste from wiki for a comparison: The FXX's engine is based on Enzo's, but displacement has been increased to 6,262.45 cc (6.3 L; 382.2 cu in) from 5,998 cc (6.0 L; 366.0 cu in). Power output has been raised from the Enzo's 660 PS (485 kW; 651 hp) at 7,800 rpm, to 800 PS (588 kW; 789 hp) at 8,500 rpm

I had no idea that Iding Power was into cars other than BMWs. My cousin who had travelled to Japan somewhere around 2002 had got me a bunch of Japanese tuner magazines. Couldn't understand a thing since it was all in Japanese but the Iding Power E36 that was featured along with the black RWB Porsche with the number 666 and the Baphomet n pentagram on it totally floored me. The catalogue section with all the old school wheels was drool worthy. I'm not too into the whole Bosozoku culture/trend but the widebody cars had me craving to own one some day. Thanks Larry for covering this. Anything that ticks off the stuck up Ferraristas is awesome in my book! 🤣
