I have always thought that there was something fishy about FedEx. Because I have been around for a lot longer than FedEx and due to the declining leval of services I had perceived from the company I don't think that this is their first financial scheme. Just Saying

Mindy Holman is not the CEO . Chris Conroy is of Holman Enterprises. And Mindy Holman most definitely is not engaged in any fraudulent activities. Why would she put the entire company at risk which is worth about $6 billion for the sake of getting a few extra bucks for beat up delivery vehicles at auction...come on.

Or FedEx didn't actually do the things that the lawyer (who stands to make an absurd amount of money from this) says. We haven't seen any evidence to substantiate these claims and absent that I'm more likely to believe FedEx than some random ambulance chaser.

I know these were fedex trucks and sold by a company they hired. BUT there was someone [ a real person] behind it somewhere and that person or people should be jailed. fine a corporation and no guilty person is punished at all.

@@RichardFedx Thank you for your question. Yes, we filed odometer fraud complaints in multiple states. All the DMV Investigators found a reason NOT to do anything and put a stop to it. Principally they claimed that FedEx was not a licensed dealer, or that they were an out of state company, so they had no control over them? Ridiculous.

FedEx Express or FedEx Ground? Big difference. I could see FedEx Ground contractors doing this with Holman. A lot of those contractors (who aren't really FedEx) are pretty shady.

Tom Layton here the Plaintiff in the original lawsuit. The defendant is FedEx Corp NOT Ground contractors! Every tampered odometer we have discovered that has had the mileage rolled back were owned by corporate, not individual contractors. FedEx Corp has already admitted, in court documents of replacing 1,611 odometers! Thank you for your comment.

Interesting that the attorneys making these allegations didn't even provide any of the paperwork where they claim that FedEx did not disclose the odometer discrepancy. Not saying that FedEx isn't guilty but I would not be surprised to learn that in most or all cases that FedEx or the auction house that handled the sale had a blanket disclaimer that the true mileage was unknown. We have bought many trucks at auction and quite a few have such a disclosure where they basically say they have no idea how many miles the truck actually has, even if the truck's odometer is accurate.

Hi raitchison. Tom Layton here, the original Plaintiff and whistleblower. There was no blanket disclaimer by any of the auctions. In fact many of the FedEx vehicles I purchased were announced ACTUAL MILES and the title were marked the same. From 2017 to today all the auctions, Manheim, ADESA, DAA, etc were made aware of this odometer fraud yet continued to sell them for Holman and FedEx without advising the buyers that the odometers were replaced and the mileage was not accurate. They all sold them fraudulently right up to this year. The paperwork will come to light thru discovery in this new case. In my case, FedEx admitted to replacing 1,611 odometers in only an 84 month period. Thanks you for your comment and feel free to ask any question you might have. I bought my 2000 Freightliner MT45 Retired FedEx Step Van last week. It has 373,000 miles on the clock. I doubt the odometer has been messed with. The Cummins 5.9 liter 24 valve Diesel engine runs like a Swiss Watch ! *FJB !*

If this was actually going on to the extent alleged the case would be brought by the department of justice. As in most class action cases, this makes the news now, but the dismissal wont be a footnote to anything.

FedEx literally goes through hundreds of thousands of miles every year and if the low mileage appears too good to be true, ummm it is.🤷🏻‍♂️
