I guess you didn't like my comment about his chest voice-based high notes sounding stuffy and strained. I mean, there are plenty of singers who can hit those kinds of notes and intensities without resorting to rock. As you know, many KZbinrs make a living by only praising singers, so it's rare to see them openly criticize a singer's shortcomings. While I no longer enjoy his music as much because I particularly enjoy a good chest or head voice, I still consider him one of the greatest male singers and a legend arguably. I also highly appreciate his talent. However, I don't think everyone believes he's perfect, and he's practically not. No singer is perfect. So, let's list some of his main shortcomings at this point in my hymble opinion. Generally, simple songs are easy to listen to but lack a deep emotional impact, while overly intense and dramatic songs can be overwhelming and quickly become tiring. Especially for fans who are simply amazed by his vocal range, I hope he can improve on some of his shortcomings, such as his unfortunate chest voice-based high notes, the excessive use of high notes like D8 in no need musically that sound more like a machine than a musical instrument, and his poor ability to tackle famous songs free from a wide vocal range. To elaborate on the third point, I meant that a good singer should be able to deliver a moving performance even with relatively easy songs that people enjoy singing. So, it's sad that he's always pressured to sing mainly the difficult songs to prove his worth.@@rose-maries7131

Masked head voice is just head voice (usually upper head) with distinct twang. Not that commonly used honestly. Faouzia’s note is mixed, not a belt. But not head either. Just mix.

And I agree with your comment about Darren. Putting a child TREBLE (which mind you... usually sits higher than soprano) makes no sense for this kinda compilation. Same with Alex, except he’s a natural male soprano. But still I’d say including normal or regular high tenors would have been the most fair. I’d also say that Jeffery’s voice sits quite a bit higher than that of a high tenor so it may not be the most fair but still works I suppose.

Dimash is a baritone BTW. No tenor has the vocal depth he does especially the depth at F2-A2. His lower voice just matured later in life.

@@shotarolee5021 although i do believe that dimash is naturally a baritone, honestly it really doesn't matter since he is able to do basically anything within any range. the dude can sing like a soprano. I mean, vocal type doesn't really matter... (except in classical music).

A4: both (Tori's was really good, but Jeremy's was more powerful in my opinion). Bb4: female (Jordin's mid belts are heaven). B4: both. C5: both. C#5: female (very strong and chesty compared to David's). D5: female (the note Adam hit didn't really fit). Eb5: female (Gabriel was good, but it sounded like a studio recording/processed vocals, while Jessie was singing live). E5: both. F5: male (definitely not the best example of Ariana's F5). F#5: female (Dimash's was powerful, but unpleasant to the ear). G5: male (I don't really like Vanessa's high vocals). G#5: both. A5: female (personal preference). Bb5: female (that Bb5 from Jennifer is one of the best. Also, that guy was so annoying). B5: female (Sohyang is just incomparable! She's a legend). C6: female (the guy's vocals sounded more like masked head voice).

I hate that I'm a baritone. I can barely scream a C5. I have to sing every song an octave down and I lost the ability to sing in falsetto above A5. I could hit E6 (omg I'm about to cry). At least I can do whistle notes sometimes. I wanna be a soprano :(
