Thank you Diff. Keep on “rambling.” Your line about the old timers passing on and taking all that wisdom and knowledge to the grave with them really hit home. I have spent many hours of my life watching and listening to the old timers, I have been tremendously helped in life by it. I am blessed to have both of my parents still as well, and you know: the older I get, the smarter I realize they are. It’s one of main reasons I watch you: wisdom and experience. Love the old rusty stuff. Got home from cars and coffee a few minutes ago where I parked the rusty rusty vw bay window next to a bright shiny red Corvette. Rust rulers. That makes my day to see my humble Jalopy on here. I'm not skilled at this. We had fun building it. There are no rules when working with junk. If it works, it's perfect! It's still not done. I don't think it will ever be done. It's strange and it's fun to drive and that's all I care about.

Hey Div, What a lucky OG I am. 72*f in the middle of Kansas today and feedback friday on my desktop. I really enjoy viewing other builders customs and contraptions. I too have a few unfinished projects I hope to drive before I cash out, as well as a 27 T roadster I built in 2012 that is currently getting some freshening up before enjoying the coming summer. Another great video! When I was a kid there was an old man that had a’37 Chevy car that lived within walking distance from me and every time I seen that car out of his garage I would stop and try to talk him into giving me a ride in it, it was all original cool old car

Cheers to all the gearheads that were featured on this weeks feed back friday. The REO was very kool. In Alberta the cruisin season can be short so the winters are spent tinkering and in the summer months I drive the sht out of my hotrod. Thats the only way for me. Thanks for sharing Diff. Cheers

Built a 37 chevy with my oldest grandson, took 2 years. Got it completed & went thew all the inspections, finally got the title. A week later it got destroyed in a tornado. Now we are building a 1926 packard 8 series 4 door, swamp find

Hi Diff. At one point in my life I owned a beautiful restored 55 Chevy hardtop. I spent more time cleaning , polishing , and worrying bout it than I did driving it. After awhile this drove me nuts so regretfully I sold it in order to keep my sanity !

I should send in photos of my 74 super beetle restoration. Ordered floor pans,,, seal.. nut bolts to get the pans done and welded in . Brake hose's.. all the stuff ya need for a old car resto job .. Hey Div absolutely correct about the "woke" and PC society. I think of my own grandsons, their parents won't allow them to watch movies with a bit of "real life" themes, but allow them to spend all their spare time playing games killing and blowing up everything. We wonder where is their perception of reality. We never raised our kids this way but they're raising their kids to have skewed views on life. Not our business so just "zip it". I cut up a '37 Chev "Sloper" when I was in high school early '60's to build it into a "bush buggy". Cheers mate!

I find it funny...my homebuilt, completely finished..600 hp LS car is hated by the showqueens...because I drive mine...every where..my 60,000 km since built 6 years ago shiny car is hated by the rust brigade...even though I put way more miles on her in a year than most rat rods put on in a life time. One might say..I can't win...while I would say..meh..I already won.
