The helicopter effect keeps the hooklength away from the feeder, so a twisted boom isn’t needed.

Hi Lee , I've watched a few videos of yours and I can honestly say Brilliant mate . full of good tips and info. I have just subscribed . I genarally only do feeder fishing and I live in the ROI. The 1 thing I have learnt from watching loads of fishing vids is not to be shy and to experiment with new baits and feeds . My friend and I went fishing the other day and as soon as we started I had a bite 3 min into the session . I had 2 rods out 1with standard groundbait and 1 with a secret addative . I caught 3 fish within 10 mins with the addative and nothing on my other rod , also my friend had no bite for about 45mins on simple groundbait which was the same as mine. Anyway after we finished fishing we weighed our catch . My friend had caught 4lb 7oz I had caught 5kg 2oz of fish and he couldn't understand how. Most of the fish were caught on the secret add rod . I had bought a bottle of milk strawberry flavoured about 3-4 weeks ago and I never drank it but I put it in the groundbait just to see if this will make a difference and it did. The waters are a lot colder now on the lakes and I believe that the drink scented the groundbait and gave it a cloudy mist for the fish to like. When I told my friend he was surprised and said he will try this next time. All the best Lee .

Great video. A wonderful place to fish, and is a natural glacial formed water. You caught Semerwater on a calm day. The cloud worked well for you, but it gets really windy on there, and the cloud will be 20 metres away in seconds. Would you then start on a window feeder ? I was there when you filmed this video, and I only had 6 skimmers, but had 30Lb of roach on corn.
