The places, the sounds, I don't know how, but I felt everything, the smell, the wind, even the touch. I cried so much while watching It, but not in a bad way of course. It inspired me so much..Like, to notice my surroundings, everyone and everything that I see. And it so beautiful. It made me look at everything with other eyes, I feel like I wasn't even actually seeing things before, since I live here for so long, it made my brain take everything for granted and made me blind and deaf. this really hits home for me. I am from switzerland and am living in New Zealand right now, probably furthest possible place from home. I have been here for 2 weeks but I wont return home for another 11 months, because I am on exchange here for a whole year, at 16 years old. I know exactly which feelings you are talking about. I remember stepping out of Auckland Airport, and I couldn't believe I was really in New Zealand, on the other side of the world, and all those places I saw on the internet, they actually exist. And seeing this video, with you converting this feeling into words, while talking about my home, was beautiful. I love new Zealand but I will forever love home the most. This actually made me cry because you captured this so well. I love travelling so so much, I even study Tourism here in the Netherlands because I want to make it my job. Sadly I had to cancel a lot of my recent travel plans, the last 2 years, because I've been really struggling with my health and recently I got diagnosed with an autoimmune/muscle disease. This has held me back from going to all the places I was planning on going too. I can't wait to travel again, even if it's not to the other side of the world, even if it's really close.
