I’ve recently been doing a social media declutter and unfollowing all the accounts that I feel don’t promote health and wellness in a positive way. In doing so, I’ve been seeking out new people to follow for inspiration and I have to tell you that I’m SO happy I found your channel! As someone who is currently suffering with hypothalamic amenorrhea and Orthorexia, it’s so soothing to watch these videos. Especially from someone who has the credentials to be speaking about food and how it correlates to health, both mentally and physically. My goal is to be less food focused and to remember that I can still live a healthy lifestyle by incorporating ALL foods. I cannot wait to fully enjoy food again without any guilt. You’ve helped me work towards that goal so thank you 💕

I am a diehard vegan, but I'm also not following any overly restrictive vegan channels anymore. Actually, I'm unfollowing most channels.

I love how you actually snack AND eat dessert! Your videos have truly helped me change the way I think about food.

Dessert for breakfast...having a sedentary day...I have NEVER heard these things from a licensed professional. Thank you for removing the chains. You should really be on network television.

I’m new on this non diet journey. Literally been dieting off an on for the past 40 years. Guess what? I’m my heaviest ever and I absolutely hate my body. Dieting is so destructive! Haters gonna hate, but I’m thankful for your videos.

Can you review intermittent fasting diets? Fasting for 16 hours and eating for 8 hours is a more popular fasting/eating pattern (basically you skip breakfast and drink black coffee in the mornings). They say this improves insulin resistance, helps with inflammation, improves hormones....
@rihabmekhlouf3 жыл бұрын
Other inituitive eaters already talked about this It's a part of food restriction since you're eating in just a certain time, 11:59 oh no i can't have my breakfast, 12:00 cool now i can ...its kind of stupid Wright! Sometimes you're more hungry during the day and sometimes during the night, what about date night and special occasions you can't enjoy them

I don't like to waste food either and use leftovers anyway I think would work. It has become a great way to find new combinations that I actually enjoy.

Dipping the chicken into an egg and milk mixture makes it even better! Def give it a try next time ☺️. I've never had it with just milk, but I think with the egg it helps this stick better and makes a nice batter!

I just started inuitive eating. I've always hated food waste as well. I've decided I need to put that on the back burner until I can get comfortable intuitive eating. What are your thoughts on this?
@frankieffbaby Жыл бұрын
I used to eat like this but eating causes me severe fatigue and I fall into a deep sleep afterward, so I don't eat a full meal that often. It's unfortunate that I'm still fat though but I think that's because of birth control.

Thanks for the post-run smoothie idea! This is exactly what I am having now and it’s so yummy! Carbs, proteins: my body is thanking me for refueling. :-)

HI Colleen, lately I've been eating a lot without being hungry (not full either but neutral) is this still intuitive eating?

Not sure if you have reviewed WW (formerly weight watchers). It has been getting a lot of negative reviews lately and I’m starting to believe it but nit 100% sure. Thanks.. love your videos.

You're not overweight. Is it possible to show some of your clients,by consent, doing the same thing and it helped them build a better relationship with food and lost weight doing it. I love your videos. I just want to see someone like me trying to do it.
@samantha91644 жыл бұрын
what are your thoughts on vegetables being half a plate? for example, what if one day, someone does not feel like eating that much vegetables---would it be okay for it to not be half of a plate?
@rainbowflower83884 жыл бұрын
It's perfectly okay to not be perfect 24/7. I don't always eat salads and vegetable soup, sometimes I want chocolate and sandwiches. As long as you're mostly eating that way, it's okay to not be perfectly healthy all the time.
@saskiafinnan42164 жыл бұрын
@@rainbowflower8388 no thats not true, you dont have to eat healthy all the time because what does healthy even mean? being healthy isnt eating vegetables and why aren't sandwiches healthy?
@ColleenChristensen4 жыл бұрын
We don't have to "eat perfectly" all of the time! That's impossible and not enjoyable! Doin't force yourself

You are obviously naturally thin. I have friends like that. Can eat what they fancy and stay lean. The majority of us are not so genetically gifted. I don’t think it’s helpful to imply if we all just ate like this we would be super lean like you.
