Morning anxiety isn’t actually a diagnosable thing, but sometimes giving an experience a label can be helpful. So what am I talking about when I say morning anxiety? I’m talking about the experience of increased worry, rumination, and physical symptoms that disappears once we get on with our day.
By acknowledging morning anxiety for what it is-a temporary state-you can create space for more positive and productive thoughts to emerge, setting a calmer tone for your day.
