I love your videos Lily! You have been so helpful in my mental health journey. I think the videos could be even better if there was no background music. Your insights are soo helpful that I love hearing them on their own without any distractions!

You are so cute young lady, I have learned a lot from your video's. I am a 67 year old man. I am amazed at some of the wisdom you have. I have had insomnia for quite a while now but slowly but surely it is getting better. I don't worry about social media much but this anxiety about sleep has been one heck of a challenge! God bless you! Thank you for making video's that people like me can watch a learn about our thoughts. I know about the 3 principles... but I don't give credit to any one except God.

Best video I have watched. I feel like I am so close to my baseline, living my life, having the knowledge of what is going on with me, enjoying the moments of ease but still struggling during the higher intensity moments. It’s like can I just wash the dishes and be in the moment or go on the walk with the dog and not have anxiety lingering?

Lovely. As always. I have limited myself over the last decade because, for whatever reason, I started to feel panicky while flying. I even let tickets to Seattle (I'm on the East Coast) expire for me and my oldest son. I was so disappointed because it was truly passive fear to just let them expire and not take the trip. But after learning so much about the Three Principals and other "thought" understandings, I realized I want to live free with my wisdom. I flew to Memphis last year with my son, and while I was nervous, I did it. And we had a great trip. I am flying to Vegas in three weeks with my husband. Its a longer flight, but I know I'll handle whatever arises. I really liked your tiktok where you said we are our own safe space and that I can trust my own mental health. I got my own back and what I need will arise when I need it. I love the shirt. Living Free. Thanks for everything Lily. Keep changing the world.

I usually never leave comments on anything but I have to let you know Lily, you are changing my life. I'm only 21 yet I've spent all my teenage years looking for solutions for my anxiety. It has consumed ALL of me and my time since I was 14. Really! I have obsessed with it. Your videos and your thinking has been the only thing that has worked, out of all the literally 100s of things I've tried. I have spent all this time just thinking "I'm not thinking enough!" when I already did SO MUCH thinking. I tried so hard to understand my anxiety, my past and my childhood. Little did I know, I needed to think less... Do less. Obsess less. Let it be, let it flow. Anyone with anxiety knows how distorted thoughts can be because when you're snapped out of it, it's like "did I really genuinely feel like that was my reality?" haha..! Gosh.. Laughing at it but it has been HARD - I haven't lived. Thank you Lily. During the days I'll literally ask myself "what would Lily have said to me?" and most of the time you'd reply in the most gentle and kind voice "no big deal!" and yes, no big deal! Wow. You are a gift to this world Lily!!

This happens to me 24/7 after my first panic attack during covid.... especially during summer... I'm so calm and relaxed when it's rainy or overcast. As soon as the sun is out in full effect,agoraphobia and anxiety kicks in and I can't go outside because I'm thinking that I might faint etc...my heart rate increases so much. Another issue is when I see any form of smoke or smell anything strong...I instantly go into panic mode

I know I'll feel better after having anxiety or intrusive thoughts BUT I don't know why they keep coming back making my life unbearable... I mean, I know they'll go away but I also know they're coming back so how can I feel ok?
@dominos1529Ай бұрын
@@ciao3926 it sounds like you are fustrated about anxiety. But anxiety will keep coming back if you worry a lot. If you worry a lot about the thoughts coming back, what if you always have them, what to do, etc etc. all that thinking is bound to make you feel anxious. All the questions you have are just noise, that comes with being anxious/worrying. The fact you know you’ll feel better is great and is the first step! The rest is just letting it take the time it takes. You don’t know how long it’ll take, and you don’t have to know how long it’ll take until you feel okay. You can have peace with intrusive thoughts even if they come back all the time. Everyone has all types of thoughts, it’s not the thoughts, it’s your reaction to them. Overtime when you heal it’ll all happen naturally. You don’t need to obsess about any of the questions you have about getting better. It’s just anxious thinking, which means it’s all distorted and not worth listening to

But why do I experience it 24/7 without it going away?
@dominos1529Ай бұрын
Because you are having lots is stressful thinking that you are taking too seriously. It’s your thinking, but you’re so used to being stressed/anxious/dissociated that you don’t even realise the thoughts anymore. But you’re not stuck, lilys videos also apply to you! I can relate to it being 24/7, but you can still heal

@@dominos1529 okay thanks for the reply. What would you say helped you get rid of it? Or deal with it better
@dominos1529Ай бұрын
@@PilotMusicc best thing for me was watching lilys videos, and realising that despite everything I’m still okay mentally, and not mentally ill, just have big habits of worrying/feeling weird. And realising I only feel weird/lots of anxiety because my thinking is distorted, not because anything is seriously wrong in my life/with me. Also just being really kind to myself when I can, healing takes a bit of time. But yeah just understanding how the human body and mind works is what helped me. Wish you the best
