My theory about all the parchment paper use is that not all people on Pinterest have a baking background; they just recycle others’ recipes and since parchment paper is so trendy, they think knit must be used. I didn’t have parchment paper hasn’t paper in my house until I was 58 years old and that’s be use I cut out oil/butter in my baking and cooking. You are a good cook, Kim. Use your best judgment on the parchment paper thing!
@jonap57402 ай бұрын
Yup. I"m 60+ and we never used parchment or foil on pans. Just butter and flour for baking, and washing the pan afterwards for baking meat on a tray. The things we don't need are marketed to us. My grandmother had cloth covers for leftover foods in dishes. No tupperware. Wax paper later.

But why? Lol the pretzels has so much butter in them they weren’t sticking to anything
@karenbobrowski12852 ай бұрын
@@thewadsquadit works best if you’re baking. But spraying helps to make the parchment lay flat. Parchment also helps to get the baked goods out of the pan if you want to take it out in one piece.
