Today I wanted to talk about not only how I overcame my fear of speaking my target language but about how you can too! I think speaking is the SCARIEST part of learning a language because it offers someone the opportunity to judge you and even laugh at you. (So rude if they do.) But once you get over your fear of making mistakes and being laughed at, you will improve like no other!! Now, you don't have to speak with a native every time you practice -I certainly don't- but it's definitely something that you'll have to do at some point! I mean, how can you speak a language fluently by avoiding all native speakers?? 😂 Anyway, let's talk about how you can change your mindset to improve your speaking skills!!
