Feistritztalbahn FTB - 100 Jahr-Feier Sept. 2011 mit ZTB No.2, FTB 83-180, FTB U8, StLB/FTB VL16 ua.

Am 15. und 16. Oktober 2011 beging die Feistritztalbahn ihre 100 Jahr Feier. Zu diesem Anlass war die Zillertalbahnlok No. 2 zu Gast und fuhr in Doppeltraktion mit der FTB 83-180.
Dieser Beitrag zeigt am 16.10. die Fahrt von Weiz nach Birkfeld. Die Motive sind abwechselnd im gemütlichen Innenraum (vorwiegend im Speisewagen) und von außen aufgenommen*. Hightlights sind sicher die vielen Überfahrten über die Viadukte wie z.B. den Grub-Viadukt.
In Birkfeld angekommen kann man die beiden Loks beim Rangieren beobachten, sich eine regionale leckere Jause kaufen, auf dem Flohmarkt stöbern oder die Kinder auf einer großen Gartenbahn mitfahren lassen. Das Fest wurde dann noch um eine spontan organisierte Lokparade bereichert, bei denen alle betriebsfähigen Loks gezeigt wurden:
- FTB U8: Diese Maschine der U-Reihe wurde 1894 bei Krauss/Linz gebaut und kam als StLB 8 „Teufenbach" zunächst zur Murtalbahn. Sie kam 1921 zur StLB und wurde 1974 instandgesetzt. 1982-84 fuhr sie auf der Stainzer Bahn. Bis 1999 stand sie im Feistritztal in Betrieb und wurde anschließend abgestellt. Für die 100-Jahr-Feier wurde sie dann kurzfristig wieder betriebsbereit gemacht. Mitlerweile ist sie wieder dauerhaft in Betrieb.
- ZTB No.2 „Zillertal": Auch eine Maschine der U-Reihe, 1900 ebenfalls von Krauss in Linz gebaut, ist für gut 1,5 Jahre Gastlok auf der Feistritztalbahn.
- FTB 83.180: Tenderlokomotive der Baureihe 83, 1949 von Đuro Đakovi in Slavonski Brod gefertigt, kam 2001 vom Kohlenbergwerk Banovići (Im August 1998 vom Club U44 gekauft) ins Feistritztal.
- StLB/FTB VL 16: Dieselelektrische Lok gebaut 1967 von der ÖMAG/BBC.
- FTB Diesellok JUNG: Feldbahnlok gebaut von Arnold Jung Lokomotivfabrik.
- StLB/FTB 619  912: Ex ÖBB, Bahnmeister-Motordraisine, ÖBB-Eigenbau aus Wörth mit 35 PS, kam ca. Ende der 80er Jahre zur FTB. Im Schlepptau eine Fahrrad-Draisine :o)
* Leider konnte ich die Außenaufnahmen nur bis Anger führen da mir eine Reifenpanne eine Weiterfahrt nicht mehr möglich machte.

On the weekend of 15 and 16 October 2011, the Feistritztalbahn celebrated its 100th anniversary. Zillertalbahn locomotive No. 2 was a guest on this occasion and ran in double traction with FTB 83-180.
This article shows the journey from Weiz to Birkfeld on 16 October. The motifs are taken alternately in the cosy interior (mainly in the dining car) and from outside*. Highlights are certainly the many crossings over the viaducts such as the Grub viaduct.
When you arrive in Birkfeld, you can watch the two locomotives being shunted, buy a delicious regional snack, browse at the flea market or let the children ride on a large garden railway. The festival was then enriched by a spontaneously organised locomotive parade, where all operational locomotives were shown:
- FTB U8: This machine of the U-series was built in 1894 at Krauss/Linz and first came to the Murtalbahn as StLB 8 "Teufenbach". It came to the StLB in 1921 and was repaired in 1974. In 1982-84 it ran on the Stainzer Bahn. Until 1999 it was in service in the Feistritz valley and was then parked. For the 100-year anniversary, it was made ready for operation again at short notice. In the meantime it is permanently in service again.
- ZTB No.2 "Zillertal": Another engine of the U-series, also built by Krauss in Linz in 1900, has been a guest locomotive on the Feistritztalbahn for a good 1.5 years.
- FTB 83.180: Class 83 tender locomotive, built in 1949 by Đuro Đakovi in Slavonski Brod, came to the Feistritztal in 2001 from the Banovići coal mine (bought by Club U44 in August 1998).
- StLB/FTB VL 16: Diesel-electric locomotive built in 1967 by ÖMAG/BBC.
- FTB Diesellok JUNG: Light railway locomotive built by Arnold Jung Lokomotivfabrik.
- StLB/FTB 619 912: Ex ÖBB, Bahnmeister-Motordraisine, ÖBB-own construction from Wörth with 35 hp, came to FTB approx. at the end of the 80s. In tow a bicycle trolley :o).
* Unfortunately, I could only take the outdoor pictures as far as Anger because a flat tyre made it impossible for me to continue the journey.
