There is no mic in the gimbal. So you should definitely use an external mic if possible

I want to buy gimbal but I'm stuck. I have a Samsung a52 5g, I got it before I decided to get into making videos. I know there are limitations with the apps because android so third party camera apps can help. I was looking at the DJi osmo 3( are DJi all hype or are they actually good )and the Moza mini s with the extension pole like the one you're reviewing. Or the one you're reviewing in this video. What's your take on them? I'm in BC 🇨🇦 so we get the canada surcharge.

They can if you need them. I barely ever use a light when im away from my studio, but a mic is definitely something that i use almost all the time.

12:36 is it from ultrawide camera? Have you faced any problems while using this gimbal with the ultrawide camera as my Zhiyun Smooth 4 shows its knob of the handle while using ultrawide camera

Very nice product review and it looks pretty good and features look cool too. Out doors looked real good and steady. You notice the sky is bluer now due to lockdowns in world! Is it light weight? How does it feel when holding it? Looks nice!

Another new product similar to this is the Zhiyun Smooth X. It not only extends (up to 26cm) but also folds to a length of ~15cm! The downside though is that it is only a two axis stabilizer (missing the up-down pitch axis) so it won't as smooth. Think of it like something of hybrid between a selfie stick and a gimbal. (master of none?) It's currently $105 CAD on Amazon.ca or $90 (!) without the case and mini tripod.

I bought one of these and got it today and this thing was utter garbage. The firmware upgrades were totally crap and literally bricked the unit altogether, PC firmware upgrading was utterly pointless and never worked at all. All in all, it was not worth paying NZ$1 shy of NZ$200 for this unit that inevitably would drive someone to so much frustration to the point of smashing it to total oblivion. There are better gimbals at a much cheaper price point than this pile of turds!
