If you guys listening to this music without seeing Fela love it so much you can then imagine how we that were always there at Fela's house listening with Fela seated and also watching him on stage regularly doing the song live feels. I was always there and it was always AWESOME 🔥 Steve Black

Privilege to have watched Fela play this music on stage in the shrine a number of times. There is also an instrumental version, where he did not sing. The stage shows were magical. Seeing Fela moving from Keyboards to playing the sax and back while conducting the band were magical moments.

Please remember that thered be no fela kuti without tony Allen. The most important drummer ever. Afrobeat isn't extremely difficult to learn if you know your way around a kit. But it amazes me how tony lays down the entire landscape of the music. Fela can take the music to the stars and back , but only because he's riding a groove so perfect it makes me cry tears of joy

Wth, The main instruments were the Saxophone and the Trumpets So how did Tony Allen's drum made Fela who he is? ... You're just saying trashs by saying "there would be no Fela without Tony" Wtf is wrong with you people? Limit the way you overrate your favorites.

....there would be no Tony Allen without Fela...hand in hand or James Brown and his drummers, Max Roach and Tony Williams who Tony Allen himself says we're influences...that's the thing we all pale in the face of those capable of creating and expounding on a brilliant notion...

@@dannytechminds423Mr Man, Fela himself admitted the importance of Tony Allen. You don't need to defend Fela 😂

An Extraordinary track. Africa 70 had hit its stride. Jazz African Rythymn and timing produce an unbelieveable groove. Supported on the percussive foundation of the greatest of drummers Tony Allen.
