Hi, just wanna thank you again because you got me into reenacting. I managed to build my impression using your videos and tutorials. Yesterday i ordered another stahlhelm and im doing ss impression 1944/45 and also got sand texture and schiefergrau color on the helmet. Ive read that in late war the helmets were mostly painted in schiefergrau and had texture. Is that correct?

That's awesome! 🤩 I'm so glad you have found the hobby! The helmet color also depends on unit etc, if it's a reissue, old stock or refurbished, or even fresh out of the factory. 👍

Why did you choose 1933 - 1945 Reenactment and not DDR or Weimar? Is it because norway and ww2 themes are more closer to you and related family members?
