Acquiescent? Indeterminate? Felicia's actually making a decent case for limiting one's time spent in video games growing up... :P

They look so much like elves in a non-offensive way Not silly elves but like hardcore Lord of the Rings elves that you expect to be just cool anyway...they would be great for LARP modelling Its kinda hot as well

And Co-optitude was born, even though the role of who wants the backstory has switched.

I got here from watching your Co-Optitude series. Great videos, all of them -- I have them playing on a peripheral monitor while at work and have been laughing so (too) much that when I try to cover it up with a cough(ing fit), people check on me. Absolutely hilarious. Anyhow, I wanted to comment and show appreciation for a blast from my past @ 3:20, Math Blaster and Mavis Beacon. I didn't have an Amiga, but those were mainstays in my school's computer lab and I was the geek who loved them. :)

I had the Japanese import version, which is called "Bare Knuckle." It plays as Streets of Rage if you play on a UK or US machine. One of the big games of that year. 1991 I think it was.

This makes my day. My sisters and I were mostly deprived of games as kids. We had a Sega Genesis, a NES and an Atari 2600, and this was the 90s when everyone was getting PS1. My older sister and I played Streets of Rage the exact same way. :D

Now that I look at the names, you're right. It does seem to be a rather long conversation between a few guys. I am glad most are just happy to share what they love, as this will only attract more noobs, who will hopefully evolve into hardcore gamers (given time and patience). It does come back to just having fun, and I just don't understand letting someone else's inexperience ruin your fun. Both Felicia and Wheaton have addressed this, and I love them for it.

ONE OF US! I can't believe I have found not one but two other people in the same situation as me as a child, I also only had an Amiga as a kid and only ever got to play 'current' games at friends houses. This game haunted my childhood. I never got very far. I forgot about it for a long time and then in university it returned. One of my housemates got a collection of sega classics and we battled our way through it and finally at long last we beat it and I slayed a demon from my past. Another game that did this to me was Golden Axe

Axel, Adam, and Blaze are ex-cops who were fed up with the corrupt police force's unwillingness to fight the Syndicate, so they quit their jobs and became full time vigilantes. They're true American heroes. When innocent lives are threatened they get up and do something about it, willing to risk anything, even their lives, on the STREETS OF RAGE. It's a terrific franchise with a cool, gritty atmosphere, enhanced by some of the best music in video game history. 10/10
