I own mostly terracotta pots since I collect arid plants. Its porosity acts as insurance against overwatering! 😍

Hi Vionna… thanks for the terra cotta tips… I recently found some small terra cotta pots at Dollar Tree… I’m guessing 3” pots…2 for $1.25… if they have them… I usually grab some quickly… because they go fast… also they have small metal bucket like pots… I drill a hole in the bottom of… and drop the nursery pots into. They have different colors. My local nursery / garden center has good prices on terra cotta… also… different sizes for around $5 … thanks for your video 💐

Yes that's definitely one way. It usually feels moist to touch. You can also tell by the weight of the pot. Usually it's lighter when it needs to be watered. I also use this aquameter amzn.to/3iWNksH . Hope it helps!

What type of plants do you suggest for the shallow bowl type of terra cotta pots?

I think plants that grow slow and have shallow roots will do best in them. I have snakeplants in them but I think succulents or haworthias would be great!
