thank you for this honest review. as a fan, i got mixed feelings too after hearing the album. i don't like the lyrics of the 4 songs but i really appreciate the craft and artistry he has put into this album. yeah, let's respect each others opinion. we listeners have different taste and preferences when it comes to music.

And FELIP already saw it coming.. that is why he posted a disclaimer way before the drop of this album.. He specifically said that if it is not your cup of tea .. you dont have to listen.. But I still gave the album a listen.. and to my surprise i like it. as being suggested by many. you should listen to it chronologically.. and i did. it made me understand the fragility of being human. I must say that FELIP is really one hell of an artist especially as a Filipino where we already have a pre identified genre of music which most Filipinos commonly listen to. It is so brave for FELIP to take Pinoy music to a different level, a risky move but seeing the chart activities both locally and internationally, i think his genuinity really paid off. I wish that casual can give this album a chance. i wont be taken back telling all of you that it is all worth it.

This is Felip. If you knew him, then you should know what type of genre of music he has and what kind of voice in which he is match on it. And i think people here are still not open minded on the evolution of music esp in OPM and that is why not able to make it globally.

FELIP - Man of few words. He will speak at the level of what he knows you can handle. He has sized you up, he has weighed you, he knows what depth you can carry..but when it comes to his music, this men knows what DEPTH really means! Yes, you are entitle to have your own opinion and preference of music, but what makes a reviewer/appraiser entitle to publicly share their cents than a mere listener are their vast knowledge of music itself, and how they perceive the underlying message of each number. Music never standout or superior in a single or particular genre. Learn, explore and appreciate. Each time you interrupt an artist, you reduce what is coming.

Some songs he used autotune because they NEED it for artistic purposes. Otherwise it wouldn't sound like how it should be. That's why he made it clear for everyone in the first place to SKIP it if it's not your kind of music. Because chances are, you will never be able to comprehend. You see what happened? You just ended up nitpicking. We should remember that when he's out of the group, he is not an idol but an ARTIST. He's not here to please you. If you're not his market, his music is simply not for you. That's why may separate fanbase din talaga si Felip as a solo artist eh. He has his Fstans (felip stans). Morethan anything else, we are here for his music.

If you think I’m nitpicking, I respect that. But my statements are based on my first listen and music preference. As I’ve stated on the video, I may not be a fan of auto tune, but I still respect all the efforts and hard work put into it. Meaning, I appreciate it still. I’m here for Felip’s music as well. @@npaciben i think d naman tayo expert kumanta o voice coach/teacher para magjudge ng voice nila at d mo naman alam kung gumagamit ba talaga ng autotune ehh.. pero napatunayan naman sa pagkanta ng live yun..kahit na mga voice coach reactor ihh ok po sana kung mas magaling kang kumanta sa kanya o kaya mo ginagawa niya yung pagiging versatile voice..haha.. love ko ang mahalima😅😅😆 Pero thanks din sa pag react sa album ni Felip ☺️

It's like saying there's nothing special to you favorite singers too b'coz there's more better singers than them, right? The point in this album is the versatility of his voice in every song, not many filipino singer can do that. His style of music is also not your typical OPM hiphop or RnB kind of sh!t b'coz it's too boring. What Felip did here is to make his music get in the international platform not just your boring OPM that focus only on filipino listeners.
