That was a great stream Captain. The Felis 747 is always fun to watch you fly 😀

You need hydraulics for the 757 pitch trim as well, if I recall correctly.

Ah very interesting! NG STAB Trim is elec and after 7000 hours you presume all the Boeing's are! FD2S

I love old aircraft and anything that requires more attention/work than just turning the AP on after 500 feet.

@@flightdeck2sim Hehehehe. Well, kinda! I dislike how Airbus takes control away from me. If I make a terrible mistake then at least Boeing lets me die with dignity! :P

I've only semi-recently gotten into simming, and Boeing obviously gets a bad rep now (though maybe not so much among actual pilots), but I definitely see the appeal of Boeing.

I was surprised to hear you say at 1:18:14, with regard to runway holding points, that you're all right as long as the nosewheel is behind it. Are you sure about that? I was under the impression that no part of the aircraft should be over the stop bar without clearance. Think of Concorde, with 40' of aircraft in front of the nosewheel. By the way, your destination is pronounced MANOWSE, to rhyme with 'house'. Cheers.

Hi Casey. Yes Concorde would no doubt have been an issue if they used the nosewheel which is located significantly behind the flight deck. I was more referencing what I fly. I should rephrase as well, you’re quite right that no part of the aircraft can cross the line and I was wrong in saying the nosewheel is correct! What I was trying to say is the main issue many airports have is that flight crew don't taxi right up to the stop bar which increased the risk of GCOL (Ground Collision). If I were a pilot I'd manually fly on all my flights. I'd probably die if I had to just keep looking at panels for 99% of the flight.

Flying an aircraft likes this requires you to do the job of x3 people, just have a look at how busy I was during take off/initial climb! FD2S
